My name is Li Kang. I live in Shijiazhuang, a capital city of Hebei Province. It is my first day at Senior High school and I’m writing it down my thoughts about it.
In my school, the teachers are kindly and friendly and the classroom are amazing. Our English teacher is a very enthusiastic woman call Ms Shen. Her method of teaching is nothing like those of the teachers at my Junior High school. I don’t think I will be bored in his class. She wants to help us improve our spelling and handwriting. We do this a fun way, with spelling games and other activities. I like her attitude very much, and the behaviour of the other students shows that they like her, too.
There is fortynine girls and sixteen boys in our class. And everyone in our class is hardworking. I’m looking forward to do the homework tonight.

As the student, I always have to stay up late to finish all my that homework. I used to being angry about all this pressure from school. One day, I said, “I went to bed at 12:00 last night. Now I just want to sleep”. But my teacher answered, “I went to bed at 1:00 am every day”. After that, I didn’t complain anymore, because I eventual knew my teachers worked much hard than me. I started to appreciate themselves. I also wrote a card to my teachers to give my thanks. When they got the card, we were all touched. Beside, I realized why powerful a thank-you card is. When we give our thanks to others, the world is full love.
