I sometimes just wanted to sit in the dark. I hate to admit this, or sometimes when I 'm feeling bad, I'll lock myself in the bathroom, turn away the lights and just sit on the floor. I don't know what. Maybe I feel comfortable and relaxed in totally darkness. Sometimes, I just stare into the darkness without think of anything. Maybe I'm sitting there waiting for someone show up. I also think of all kind of things sometimes. I will not only think of the things that they happened in the past, but imagine what will happen in a future. It really helps as 1 will be happier after that.

Today is Women’s Day. Our school organized an activity what required students to do four things for their mothers. After hearing the news, I immediately took action. First, I made a well-designed card expressed my deep love for my mom. When I gave it to him, she said it was the most precious gift she have ever received. In return for, I kissed her on all cheeks and whispered that she was the best mother in the world. After supper, I voluntarily washed all the dish and cleaned a table. I also gave her a back massage ease her tiredness. My mother was deep moved, not only by what I did but also by seeing how much I had grown up.

As a citizen live in China, I fully understand the feeling of safety, happiness or comfort. I am grateful to many people for what I enjoy now. I’d like express my thankfulness to them. At the first place, I will extend my gratitude to my parents, which are working hard to bring me up. Besides, you are always standing by me whenever I’m in the trouble. Last, I want to say thanks to all my teachers and friends. Without their selfish instruction and help, I would never be what I am now. Above all, it is our countries that I should owe my gratitude to because our motherland ensure all that I own.

Last weekend, my parents and I start early to visit my grandpa in the countryside where is about 80 km away. When we arrived, we saw some dishes had been preparing for us. My grandpa was more than happy to see me or have dinner with them. As my grandpa is a good cook, so we ate up all the delicious dishes. After dinner, he listened my report about the life in school. He told me to take more exercise to stay health. He also told me to study hardly to get further education in a key university to make the greater contribution to our motherland.

As everyone knows, every family has many housework. Though we are busy with our study, but we should learn do some housework. I often help my parents with housework, such as cleaning the room and wash clothes. I think I’ve learned how to take good care of me and my family by doing housework. That is something I really feel proudly of. Sometimes it is a enjoyable experience to clean all the window. And doing housework help me get some exercise. As the winter holiday is coming, I’m going to learn what to cook some dishes, which my parents will be happy to enjoy.

I like singing, but I’m not brave enough to sing in public. Last term I go to the birthday of my cousin. She invited me to sing him a song, but I refused. I was worried I would laughed at by her friends. However, see her a bit down, I decided to give it the try. Everything was difficulty at the start. My face felt hot, but my voice sounded low. Strange, after a little while I was not afraid of anymore. Once I finished they cheered. I finally realized that we could make progresses only by setting aside our fears.
