DAY TRIP ITINERARY (行程)
After a warm reception from your tour manager at your dedicated pick-up point in London, settle in your comfortable coach as we set off on our journey towards Stonehenge. The world’s most famous prehistoric monument has inspired people to study and interpret it for centuries, yet many questions remain to be answered —about who built it, when, and why.
After visiting Stonehenge, we drive to Windsor Castle, which is home to royalty and 1,000 years of royal history. The stunning 13-acre site is the largest and oldest occupied, working castle in the world. There are many famous, must-see moments within these spectacular rooms in the castle, like the grand Waterloo Chamber and the magnificent Crimson Drawing Room.
In the early evening, we make our way towards London and proceed towards your respective drop off points and bid farewell to all friends you have made on the tour.

I was afraid my colleagues would see me through and realize how weak I really felt. Some mornings, just stepping out of my room and going into the lab seemed a challenging task.
That began to change after a quiet breakdown in the lab urged me to contact the university’s mental health services. I was advised to attend a concert by a famous singer from my motherland. There I was in the crowded concert hall, surrounded by strangers—all of us clapping and singing the familiar songs.
Soon, I planned a day trip to a charming city a few hours away. As I took pictures of the beautiful surroundings, and enjoyed a lemonade there, I realized nobody was really paying any attention to me. My confidence and self-sufficiency grew as I enjoyed more local day trips. My growing self-confidence carried over to work, where I started to speak up and put forward my opinions. I began to ask questions during departmental meetings.
So, when an important conference relevant to our research came around, I felt comfortable registering to attend on my own. Not only did I meet the speakers, but I also introduced myself to other attendees and industry representatives, chatting about their products. The experience inspired me to critically evaluate my own professional interests.
Since then, I have had the confidence to move to other countries, enthusiastic about new opportunities. Traveling alone did not give me any magical powers, but taught me that I have the competence to grow and succeed. just like everyone around me, and it helped me get rid of the weight of self-doubt that used to hold me back.

First stop
Fly into Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. This great city is known for its fashion markets and beautiful art. And be sure to pick up some rich Kenyan coffee while you’re there! Then head for the countryside.
Plan your trip
The largest of the three lakes in the system, Lake Nakuru, is less than 175 kilometers from Nairobi. But Lakes Bogoria and Elementaita are equally worth a visit. You can stay at one of several choices of luxurious cabins in the valley. And if you sign up for a trip, be sure to put flamingos, the white and pink birds, at the top of your list.
Paradise
The Kenya Lake System is shallow and alkaline (碱性的). That means it supports vegetation such as green algae, a food source for many waterfowl. Hundreds of species of birds flourish here, using this area as a major breeding and nesting ground. Water buffalo, leopards, monkeys and the endangered Rothschild giraffe also make this area their home.
Other sights
Wildlife isn’t the only natural wonder in the Great Rift Valley. The valley marks a place where the earth is divided far below the surface. This rock separation below ground leads to noticeable feature s above ground. Walking around Lake Bogoria especially, you will see steam rising from hot springs.
Other activities include golfing, horseback riding and hiking. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, either. The river valley is far from city lights, so many visitors gaze at the stars shining above.
If you are ready for a wildlife experience, don’t hesitate!
