The journalists from home and abroad for Beijing 2022 were invited to an online city tour of Wuhan in     1     (center) China at the Main Media Center here on Sunday.

The theme of     2     online tour is “Visit the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan and taste the flavor of life by the Yangtze River.”

    3     the tour, journalists were able to overlook the city landscape on the top floor of Yellow Crane Tower, one of     4     (famous) towers that boast a long history. This was the 19th online tour organized by the Beijing 2022     7     (organizer) since January 7, which has attracted more than 900 Chinese and foreign reporters. Previous tours     8     (include) themes like visiting the Palace Museum to know the restoration techniques of cultural relics,     9     (explore) the ritual and music culture of China in Qufu, Shandong, and embracing diverse “Fu” culture in Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Fuzhou, Fujian.

Ian Whitbread of Getty Images said in an interview in January that the online tour gave him the chance to feel the charm of Chinese traditional culture and get a better understanding of Beijing and other Chinese cities despite the closed-loop (闭环)     10     (manage).

The online city tours will continue until the end of the 2022 Paralympic Games on March 13.

In southern China, there is a famous road     1     (build) across Poyang Lake, which lies in the north of Jiangxi Province, China and is known as China’s second     2     (large) lake. People in China also call it “the most beautiful road under the water”.

This road is sure     3     (attract) a lot of attention towards the end of May every year. A lot of people come out of curiosity. The water level of the lake is so close to     4     surface of the road,     5     makes the view ahead broad and bright when people drive along. For the next few months, this road is not above the surface     7     under the water. When the water level of Poyang Lake starts to go up, the road surface becomes unseen. However, drivers can still drive across the lake safely     8     watching the guardrails (防撞护栏) fixed on either side of the road. For thrill-seeking motorists, it’s like     9     (drive) an amphibious (水陆两栖的) super car. Then in a few days, the entire road     10     (flood) with the continuously rising water. A few months later, the road will reappear.

An idea to cycle to Tibet occurred to me one year age. I know     1     idea is quite practical in economical way. For one thing, I can’t have too much money.
