Fires swept across the Amazon this month have been grabbing global headlines. Scientists and environmentally groups are worried about that they will result in climate change and threaten biodiversity. As a largest rainforest in the world, the Amazon is often called “the lung of the world”. It is also home 3 million species of plants and animals and million of local people. Quantities of rainforests play an important role in the world’s ecosystem because it absorb heat what will be reflected back into the atmosphere. They also store carbon dioxide and producing oxygen, insuring that fewer carbon is released, reducing the effects of climate change.

I really like animals. When I grow up, I’ll work with animals. Though I don’t know exact what I can do for the animals yet, but I can at least follow my brother. He is a excellent vet. He looks after frightened snakes. He says that snakes are easy to deal as they don’t have any legs. My father, a scientist, works to save rare bird, some of that are really clever and can even say some words. My mother trains dolphins every workday. They practise in the pool. She hears the dolphins talk and sang. That sounds really cool! There are so many animal jobs to choosing from, but which one is right for them? I’ll have to wait and see!

Yesterday I visit the Hong'en Temple Park with my friends. The park was full of beauty flowers. When I were enjoying the wonderful scenery, something unpleasant caught my eye. A young couple on the grass were eating, talking and laughing loud as if they were the only people in the world. What's worse, they even threw rubbish onto the grass, without see the sign "No littering” nearby. What a shame!
Such behavior left me in thought. If all visitors do as the young couples did, the park will be severely polluting and soon turned into a huge dustbin. I think both of us should mind our behavior in the public places. Only in this way can we live more comfortable and beautiful surroundings.

The number and species of fish had dropped sharply in the past few decades. It is human behavior which is to blame.Industrial and agricultural waste is pouring. into the ocean, which seriously pollutes the water. To make things bad, overfishing destroys the balance of life in the ocean.
It is a high time that measures should be taken to deal with this situation. The government should make law to keep people overfishing. At the same time, anyone who causes water pollution should be strict punished. All of us should try our best to protecting the fish in the ocean. After all, that is everyone's duty to protect the environment around us.

It is generally believed there is a good supply of fresh water. And to our disappointment, the fact was just the opposite. What we know, the world population is growing rapid day by day. So much fresh water is needed to feed so a big population. What's the more, with the development of industry, some factories produce poisonous waste, which consequently results from the pollution of water. It’s high time for we to take quick action to protect water resources. Stopping pollution and save water, otherwise we cannot survive on the earth.
