Driving a car is not just handling controls and judging speed and distance. It requires you to predict what other road users will do and get ready to react to something unexpected. When alcohol is consumed,it enters your bloodstream and acts as a depressant(抑制药),damaging eyesight, judgement and coordination(协调),slowing down reaction time and greatly increasing the risk of accidents. Even below the drink driving limit, driving will be affected.
Alcohol may take a few minutes to be absorbed into the bloodstream and start action on the brain. Absorption rate is increased when drinking on an empty stomach or when consuming drinks mixed with fruit juice. To get rid of alcohol from the body is a very slow process and it is not possible to speed it up with any measures like taking a shower or having a cup of tea or coffee.
The present Road Traffic Ordinance states clearly that the limit of alcohol concentration(浓度) is:
•50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 mL of blood;or
•22 micrograms of alcohol per 100 mL of breath;or
•67 milligrams of alcohol per 100 mL of urine(尿液).
Drivers who cause traffic accidents,or who commit a moving traffic offence or are being suspected(怀疑) of drink driving will be tested.
Any driver found drinking beyond the limit will be charged. The driver declared guilty may be fined a maximum of HK $25,000 and be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison and punished for 10 driving offence points;or temporarily banned from driving.
The same punishment applies to (适用于)failing to provide specimens(样本)for breath, blood or urine tests without good excuse.
Drink driving is a criminal offence. Be a responsible driver, think before you drink. For the safety of yourself and other road users, never drive after consuming alcohol.

Both of Macron’s parents were doctors, and he attended one of the most prestigious (有声望的) schools in France, Lycee Henri Ⅳ. From there, he became an investment banker and economy minister. Unlike the other presidential candidates, he has always worked outside of the government.
In April 2016, he created his own political movement, called En Marche! (On the Move!), recruiting (招募) more than 20,000 members. His party’s ideals were neither right-or left-winged, but more independent. As his party became more and more successful, Macron began to think about presidency, something he’d always been interested in. In November 2016, he announced his decision to run in the 2017 election.
Macron’s campaign relied on his political movement. He struggled to win votes from both parties in France, as well as from the working class. In addition, he was the only candidate that was pro-EU, or supportive of European Union.
While in office, Macron’s biggest focus will be on improving the economy. A total of €50 billion will be dedicated to job training and creating green and sustainable energy. Macron also plans to cut down on corporate taxes, improve the public education system, and lower the unemployment rate by 2.7%.
Following the election is the selection of the president’s cabinet (内阁). The Prime Minister position was given to Edouard Philippe, mayor of Northern Le Havre. However, Macrons cabinet is surprising—one France has never seen before: a gender-balanced cabinet. Out of the 22 seats available, 11 will be taken by women and 11 will be filled by men. This percentage is much higher than other European countries.
With each change of leadership come new ideals and changes to the country. Macron needs a parliament (议会) that will support his hopes and dreams for the future of France.

The first one is about drinking. Now,you may not buy alcohol in this country. If you are under 18 years of age,nor may your friends buy it for you.
Secondly, noise. Enjoy yourselves by all means, but please don’t make unnecessary noise, particularly at night. We ask you to respect other people who may wish to be quiet.
Thirdly, crossing the road. Be careful! The traffic moves on the left side of the road in this country. Use pedestrian crossings and do not take any chances when crossing the road.
My next point is about litter (throwing away waste material in a public place). It is an offence (违法行为) to drop litter in the street. When you have something to throw away, please put it in your pocket and take it home,or put it in a litter bin.
Finally,as regards something,it is against the law to buy cigarettes or tobacco if you are under 16 years of age.
I’d like to finish by saying that if you require any sort of help or assistance, you should contact your local police, who will be pleased to help you.
Now,are there any questions?

"When you are living in a basement with only artificial light, it becomes very clear that something is lacking,’’ he says. “It's an emotional, physical and mental thing all combined. ”
You can say that again. Our lifestyles have rapidly changed with light. Prior to the invention of gas lighting at the turn of the 19th century, the only artificial light we could rely on was from flickering firelight, candles or whale-oil lamps. People also spent many more of their waking hours outside. Over time, the technology of artificial light has been advancing, thus changing the way people live and work.
Today, the average westerner spends 90 per cent of their life indoors. That means we are getting less light during the day and being exposed to more light at night. This pattern is increasingly being linked to disturbed sleep and circadian rhythms — 24-hour changes in our biology and behavior — with consequences for our physical and mental health. Meanwhile, getting too little sunlight is contributing to vitamin D shortage and may be weakening our immune and cardiovascular systems as well.
Our changed relationship with the sun is greatly affecting our biology .That's why people like Petersen are being taken in by researchers to help investigate how much damage we do by shying away from the light, and just how much light we need. The good news is that researchers are finding even small increases in your exposure to bright light will bring about great changes to your health.

Ecuador
Once upon a time, the whole region where the country of Ecuador now exists was named Quito, which is the name of its current capital. The name “Quito” is a nod to the indigenous (本地的) Quito people who lived there in pre-Columbian times, dating back to as far as 2000 BC. Ecuador, as we know it today, is Spanish for “equator” (赤道). In 1735, French scientists came to measure the equator in order to, essentially, carry out a proxy war between Newton and Descartes. Newton believed the earth was flattened at the poles, and Descartes believed it was squeezed at the equator. Eventually, the French pinpointed the equator and proved Newton right.
Venezuela
Believe it or not, the name “Venezuela” is actually believed to be a nod to Venice—yes, the watery city in Italy. As far as we know, this name might have come from Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci. In1499, a naval (海军的) expedition was exploring Lake Maracaibo when they noticed the dwellings of the indigenous Alu people, who built their homes on stilts (支柱) above the water. These structures reminded Vespucci of home (or of Venice, to be more specific).
Argentina
You probably didn’t think this had to do with precious metals, did you? The name “Argentina” actually came from the Latin argentum (银), which means “silver”. In the 1520s, Venetian explorer Sebastian Cabot learned of the mythical “Sierra de la Plata”—or a mountain with a jackpot’s worth of silver. It could only be accessed through an estuary (河口) in the south of the continent, which he named Silver River. Cabot never did find this rumored mountain, but the name he gave the river stuck, along with “Argentina”, or The Land of Silver.

C.Explored the region. | D.Did research on the equator. |
