Dear Mr. Black,
I'm very thank to you for inviting me to stay with you in the coming summer vacation. I have been dreamed of seeing you again so that I can get help from you in my English learning. And I'm afraid I cannot go to your place this summer. I've promised to my grandmother, she lives in the country, to spend this summer with her. She misses me too much that I find difficult to refuse her request. I'm busy preparing for your examinations at present. I planned to visit you in winter if it's convenience for you. Best wishes.
Yours truly,
Li Ying

Hi! Tom,
I'm glad to hear of you, Yes. I sometimes have a same problem. I think you'd better go to Peter's birthday party since he is my close friend. You can choose to play other games such as chess unless you don't like playing computer games. You don't need to worry too many about the science report. You can finish them on Sunday. I'm sure you can manage it. But if you don't go the party,I'm afraid you may lost the friend. Although it's true that sometimes people's needs is different, you should remember friends can always stand beside you. We must understand that each other.

Thank you for your letter, for which it made me excited. I’m glad to know what you’ve come to China to learn Chinese kung fu in a school in my hometown. I’m sure about you’ll enjoy yourself. In fact, I begin to learn kung fu when I was seven years old, for I have long been out of practice. Luckily, I will go home for two weeks for summer holiday. Then I can spare some time to learn it again, such that we can practice together in every day. Best of luck with yours learning kung fu in China. See you sooner.

I am an actor, who likes being independently, living on my own. I enjoy going to parties and meet people. Which is quite funny is that they can't remember the names of any of my films when I meet some people for the first time but they recognize myself. They get embarrassed, so I don't mind. The last one was quite a few year ago after all. I lived here in New York for nearly thirty years, but I feel I need for a change. So maybe next year I would do something excited like traveling around the world.
The winter holidays are coming, which made me excited. I have been looking forward at relaxing myself. I’d like to go skating, climb mountains and see several movie. I think I can play the basketball with my classmates. How a wonderful time I’ll have during the winter holidays! However, my parents think different. They don’t want me go out. They are afraid I’ll be knocked down by a truck, fallen off a tree, or fight with others. Beside, they are afraid I will lose my way. I hate being treated like a bird keeping in a cage. To get more freedom, I will try to persuade them.
