【推荐1】It was a cold, sunny December day when I set out for a run in Moab, Utah, with my dog, Taz. I often went for training runs by myself and had done this particular route before.

About an hour into my run along a remote canyon (峡谷) trail, I hit a piece of ice and then fell 60 feet into the canyon, landing on a ledge (岩脊) above a sheer (陡峭的) drop. I wasn’t paralyzed (瘫痪), but I was in great pain. Taz had managed to find his way back to me, so there must be away out of the canyon, but I couldn’t stand. I dragged myself to the bottom of the canyon. Every inch was an effort. Eventually, it got so dark that I had to stay where I was for the night, next to a puddle (水坑) of water. At night the temperature dropped below freezing. Taz stayed with me, providing some warmth.

The next morning, I couldn’t move at all. I tried to stay positive. I was sure somebody would hear me screaming for help. The second night in the canyon seemed even longer and colder. The puddle tum ned to ice, and I had to crack through it to get water.

On the third day, I felt myself growing weaker. I was coming to accept the fact that I might die. In a last ditch effort, I called Taz over and told him to go and get help. Taz took off through the canyon and I lay there thinking about my family and friends. There was more that I wanted from life.

Taz returned, alone. Then I heard an engine in the distance. I cried with joy. It turned out that Taz had found a search and rescue team. I was airlifted to the hospital, where doctors found I had lost almost half the blood in my body. If the rescue team had arrived later, I wouldn’t have made it.

Ten years on, I still think about it every day. Taz is still a live — we’ll always have a special bond. Realizing you have a second chance at life puts things into perspective.

Now, Imran spends most of his time striving to grow Fismma. He is also working on a social media platform.

Imran expresses his goals to create innovations that will improve individual lives. The passion and motivation he has to build something can positively reach unlimited amounts of people as wide as he can reach. Imran also believes that there are other young individuals out there who are eager to find their paths and create something for themselves too. He is motivated to help other young people on the journey to reaching and living their dreams.

Einstein and the Violin

Designed a Refrigerator

Twenty-one years after writing his Special Theory of Relativity, Albert Einstein invented a refrigerator that operated on alcohol gas. The refrigerator was patented（获得专利）in 1926 but never went into production because new technology made it unnecessary. Einstein invented the refrigerator because he read about a family poisoned by a sulphur dioxide-emitting（排放二氧化硫的）refrigerator.

【推荐3】Pablo Picasso was born on October 25 in Malaga, Spain in 1881. Taking after his father, Picasso shared a passion (热爱) for painting and art. Even though he wasn't the best student in school, Picasso excelled at drawing. Noticing his amazing talent, Picasso's father, an artist, taught him everything he knew. Before long, Picasso could paint and draw much better than his father. With this rich talent, Picasso paid less and less attention to his schoolwork and spent the majority of his day sketching and drawing in notepads and sketchbooks.

When he was a little bit older, Picasso moved twice and was accepted into two fine art programs. However, he didn't care very much for the special techniques they taught and often wandered the streets by himself drawing the scenes around him. After moving to these two places, Picasso moved back home to Barcelona and decided that he would develop new techniques of art and painting based on what he saw.

Later, Picasso decided to move to Paris, France, where he began perfecting his own techniques of painting, drawing and other forms of art. His drawings, paintings and art included pieces about sadness, poverty, classics and self-portraits. One of his major types of work is called cubism   (立体派), which includes art with all sizes of geometric shapes together on the piece of art. This type of art is very important because no other artists had come up with the idea before. Picasso decided to try something new, and as a result, cubism is widely accepted today as a classic style of art.

Picasso inspires us to be always thinking. He tells us to think outside the box and come up with fresh new ideas that can change the world. He surely plays an important role in the art field.
