A 56-year-old enthusiastic backyard bird watcher named Stuart Dahlquist spent years    1    (leave) out food for a family of crows and was left    2    (shock) when he found a gift from the crows back in March 2019.He first became acquainted with the bird family after he rescued two chicks that had fallen    3    their nest in his front yard five years ago.

Dahlquist had always delighted in listening to the baby birds chirp(鸟叫)to    4    (they) parents during feeding time.When he found the tiny crows on the ground,he went to help. The prey would come closer and then become dinner.

Scientists explain that crocodiles DO create tears, but they do not cry. The tears help to clean their eyes. Crying is purely emotional and it     10     (reserve) for us humans.

A male elephant that broke away from the wandering elephant pack     1    ( send) back to its forest home on Wednesday in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said.
