To offer a chance for our students to keep in touch with society, last Saturday our class was organized some meaningful social practice activities. We were divided into second groups. One group went to the crossings near our school, intending to helping the traffic policemen. The another group went to collect rubbishes in Hongxing Park. Meanwhile, we introduced some simply ways of environmental protection and remind people not to destroy the beauty of nature. It was the memorable day because our behavior received praise the public and we benefited a lot from these activities.

In the past three years, many activities had been organized by our school. What impressed me mostly was an activity called “Learning to Farm”. In an autumn afternoon, we went to a farm, where we learned knowledge and had many fun. Having been in the city for such a long time, we were more than happy to go to a countryside. After we arrived, we divided into three groups. Some students learned how to raise chicken, some worked in the garden, and the other helped the farmers with the work in the fishpond. It was not until it was totally dark when we stopped working. Though tired out, but we felt pleased on our way back home.

Last weekend, we watched an excited basketball match in our school. It is between Grade 1 and Grade 2 students. During the match, the players from all teams played very hard. Grade 2 was stronger. However, to our surprised, Grade 1 won at last. The player jumped and hugged celebrate their success. Just then, the players from the other team that came near and said “Congratulations!” to them. They worn smiles on their faces and you couldn’t tell from their expressions that they lost the match. We were touching by the scene and felt what important a role sport plays in daily life.
