John worked hard but he was still very poor. One day when he came home from work, he saw his daughter in the living room. She was playing with colorful wrapping(包装) paper. John got angry.

“I bought it with my pocket money, ”the girl answered.

“You won’t get money from me any more,” John said and went to his room.

Some days later, it’s Christmas. The girl brought a little box in colorful paper to her father and said, “Dad, this is for you.”

I’m writing to tell you my life after I became a student in Grade Eight. I have more homework than before. So my life is full every day. I go out for a walk with my parents together every day after doing my homework. And I take piano lessons twice a week, play basketball three times a week.
