Everybody knows that healthy eating habits are important. Here are five good eating habits for you.

Drink plenty of water. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. You may need even more water when you are exercising.

Don’t miss (错过) breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of a day. You can have more energy (精力) after eating breakfast.

Eat light (清淡的) lunch every day. If you don’t have enough time to have a big meal, take some bread with you for a quick lunch. Don’t eat lunch which has too much oil. If you don’t have lunch, that will be bad for your health.

Eat fruit and vegetables. We should eat fruit and vegetables every day. Add a banana to your breakfast, have salad for lunch, and eat some vegetables at dinner. If someone doesn’t like to eat vegetables, he or she can eat some fruit instead.

Don’t eat dinner late. Try to have dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed. Your body needs time to digest most of the food before you rest for 8 hours.

It’s difficult to make friends if you stay at home all the time. Go out of the house and do things with other people. It’s easier for you to make friends in this way.

Don’t be afraid to show people what you are really good at. Talk about the things you like to do best. Other people will understand you easily. Then they want to make friends with you.

When you talk with somebody, watch their eyes. In this way, you can find it easier to talk to them. And people may think you are interested in them.

Be a good listener. Let people talk about themselves before talking about yourself. Ask them lots of questions and show great interests in their answers.

Try to make friends with the kind of people you really like and respect (尊敬), not just with those who are easy to meet. Be friendly to a lot of people, and you will have a bigger group of people to make friends with.
