Chinese actor Zhang Ruoyun, is not new to the world of acting. He was born in 1988. He took on his first role 15 years ago. But more people are hearing about him now from the popular TV play—Joy of life.

Zhang plays Fan Xian, the main character of the play. Fan lives in ancient times. But he thinks like a modern person. The play has 8 points on Douban. Many people think highly of Zhang’s acting.

Zhang is not only good at acting but also good at English. In high school, his English grade was above 140 out of 150. In 2018, Zhang was invited to the show—The Sound. He voiced as Forrest Gump in English. His pronunciation skills surprised everybody.

What’s his secret to learning English? He has never studied abroad. Instead, he has watched many English movies and played English games. He learns new words while having fun.

Blue seas, white beaches, old buildings on mountains—Greece is a place where you can enjoy nature and culture (文化) at the same time.

The two cultures of China and Greece “talked” with each other in old times. Thousands of years ago, Greek mathematician ( 数学家) Archimedes (287-212 BC) was the first person to count Pi (圆周率), which was about 3.14. Later, Chinese mathematician Zu Chongzi (429-500) made it more accurate, which was between 3.1415926 and 3.1415927.

Today, the two countries joined hand in hand again. Greece has taken part in China’s Belt and Road Initiative(一带一路倡议). The two countries are doing more business, and they will walk into a better future together.

Polar bears live inside the Arctic Circle (北极圈). Scientists say that most polar bears will die out by 2100.     39     In places like Alaska and Russia, the polar bears may start to die out by 2080.

As the world gets warm, the ice in the Arctic is becoming smaller and thinner.     40     For polar bears, that’s a matter of life and death, because they rely on the sea ice to travel, find partners, and look for food.

    41     To catch seals, the bears walk and run across the sea ice. Polar bears are strong swimmers, but they’re not fast enough to catch seals in the water. In winter, when there’s ice, polar bears eat as much as possible. But these days, there’s less ice, so the bears have fewer areas to find food.     42     They have to spend more time on land.     43    

To help save polar bears, we need to take action to do with global warming.
