I have been in London for about a year. Now, I know a lot about it.

● Eating in London

It is easy to find good food in London. There are lots of restaurants and food markets. Traditional (传统的) British food includes fish and chips, pudding, pies, cheese, tea and cake.

● Weather in London

Does it always rain in London? No, not really. London’s weather can change very quickly. In fact, Londoners carry both sunglasses and an umbrella throughout the year.

● Attractions in London

London has many famous attractions, such as the London Eye, the Tower of London and the Science Museum. You can take a double-decker bus. It will show you around the city. Outside the city, there is beautiful countryside and many castles, parks and gardens.

In a word, London is a beautiful city. It is a good place for visiting and learning.

My school is in northern Shanghai. My school life is wonderful here because there are so many interesting and meaningful activities!

One of my f    47     school activities was the kite-flying show. Kite-flying is an intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) of China. In order to help students better understand this tradition, our school i    48     some experts(专家) to show us a kite-flying. We were all amazed at the bright colors and the unique designs of the kites. When the experts showed different ways to fly kites, we knew that protecting the heritage of kite-flying needs a deep love for Chinese culture.

In addition, I also like the Project-Based Learning (项目式学习) very much. One of the a    49     projects we did last term was drawing on chairs. We worked in groups and painted chairs however we wanted. This may sound strange to you, but we had great f    50     and learned a lot! The chairs we painted were put on display in our school hallways.

To my classmates and me, our school is like a wonderland full of vitality (活力) and dreams where we are growing up h    51    !

When I was a little girl, I was very shy and never liked to speak up in class. I was always afraid of making mistakes in front of others.

Things changed when I joined the cheerleading team in the sixth grade. Our teacher taught me how to perform in front of many people. To improve my dancing skills, I practiced as much as I could. After many performances, I built up my confidence (自信) little by little. Of course, I still sometimes make mistakes, but I have been able to accept them and learn from them.

Over the past few years, cheerleading has also taught me how to trust (信任) and work with others. At first, dancing in the group was not easy for me. With the help of my team members, things have become better and better. I’ve made friends with them and always try to do my best on the team. And now I do think that the success of our team is much more important than my own!

Cheerleading is more than just a sport to me. Thanks to it, I have become a better student and team player. Being on the cheerleading team has made me the person I am today.
