Here is a charity sale(义卖) for the poor African children. We will give away the money we raise in the charity sale. Come and see our things.

Most cities and towns in China have night markets. They are usually on the same streets every day. In the daytime, these streets are quiet. At night, they become crowded. Usually, sellers arrive at 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon. By 6:00, lots of people crowd the streets.

Night markets are fun places to shop at. Sellers put their things on the streets. You can buy clothes, shoes and many other things. If you feel the price is high, you can bargain(讨价还价) with the seller.

You can also buy lots of delicious food. When you are just a little hungry, you can buy snacks(小吃). When you’re really hungry, you can sit down to have a big meal.

There are also games to play. In one game, you throw plastic(塑料的) rings around the top of bottles. In another game, you shoot balloons(气球) with a toy gun. If you are lucky, you can win a prize.

Usually the things at night markets are not expensive! You don’t need a lot of money to have a great time.

Azad Singh’s dream came true. He has become the world’s smallest teacher. He teaches computer science at a school in India. Mr. Singh has an illness which made him stop growing at the age of five. Because he is just 3 feet tall, his students call him “Chotu”(means “Little Sir”). The nickname doesn’t bother him. ”I don’t mind. I’ve got what I always want. People treat me differently, but now I have a job with some respect,” he said. He makes 120 dollars a month. He stands on a table in class so that he is tall enough to reach the whiteboard. Mr. Singh’s younger sister Suman, 15, is proud of him. And his mother said he was happy. Once at school he was bullied(被欺负) because of his size, and was afraid to go out. But now Mr. Singh said, “Bullies have made me work hard to achieve my goals(目标).”

One day I went to a yard sale with my brother. We could always find good things     46     the things there. For example, some interesting toys or a great novel at a     47     price could excite us.
