London is an amazing c    26    . There is a subway system so you can travel around the city easily. There are lots of places of interest here in London. You can come here to v    27     the famous Tower Bridge. There are also lots of old b    28     and museums to visit. The people here are very friendly and h    29     when you lose your way. If you are n    30     here, it’s e    31     for you to get lost, for the traffic here goes on the l    32    . The only thing that most of the visitors don’t like is the w    33    . It r    34     a lot and it’s very cold in winter. It often has thick fog, which means it’s difficult for the visitors to find the r    35     way.

Mariko Okada—Tokyo

My year in the USA was full of fun. I like talking to others, so I got lots of speaking practice. I also learned lots of interesting things about America. When I got home, my friends said I was better! I hope to go back to America again in the future.

I spent the last year studying English in London. There were so many people speaking English there, but I always felt bad about my English. I missed my family very much. I think it was great to study in London, but I prefer to be at home!

Alvin Chen—Hong Kong

Studying in New Zealand had lots of hard work! I had English classes six hours a day, five days a week. I also kept a diary. I like writing, and I wrote about many things in my diary every day. On Saturdays, my homestay（寄宿）family took me to lots of interesting places and showed me so many wonderful things. I was really glad to stay there for a year!
