My mother was telling me about how she and her family got their first television when she was a teenager. Of course it was     21    and white. She said she only watch it at night. She didn’t remember over watching it in the morning or     22    .

They kept on walking until they found an oasis(绿洲). They decided to get some water. Suddenly Tom slipped down and fell into the mire(泥潭). His life was in danger, but his friend saved him at once.

When he felt all right, he wrote on a stone, “Today my best friend saved my life.”

Jack asked him, “After I hit you, you wrote in the sand and now you write it on a stone. Why?”

Tom answered, “When someone hurts us, we should write it down in the sand, then the wind can blow（吹） it away. But when someone does something good for us, we must write it on a stone where no wind can ever blow it away.”
