Nowadays, more and more people like to travel in their holidays. I have read a report about the _______ people spend their holidays. It is reported that in recent years several new holiday habits have developed. _______ them, the most interesting one is the growth of holiday camps.

From the report we can see that, in 1990, forty percent of people stayed at _______ for their holidays. However, now the percentage has fallen to nine percent. More people go out for fun. People enjoy the fresh air, clean water and green hills when they go camping in places far _______ the city. In 1990, thirty-eight percent of people _______ going to the seaside _______ in 2002 only twenty seven percent preferred to go there. What great changes!

_______ have those changes taken place? I think there are several reasons. First, it’s because people can _______ to travel. Second, people prefer to live a high quality and colorful life. Third, their _______ to relaxation have changed. Fewer and fewer people want to save _______ money by living a simple life.

Recently I had a trip to Sydney with my parents. We visited the Wildlife Park.

The Wildlife Park has lots of different animals. Some are native(当地的) to Australians and can only be found there. There are more than 500 animals there, including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles. They are kept in their natural environment. I like the Wildlife Park better than a zoo. In zoos, most of the animals are in cages.

We first spent some time with the kangaroos. We could touch and feel them. It was very exciting to be so close to them. There were koalas there too. They looked very cuddly(令人想拥抱的 ). Although we couldn’t carry koalas, I could take a photo with one. It is a wonderful souvenir(纪念品) of my holiday in Sydney.

The Wildlife Park has plenty of freshwater crocodiles and saltwater crocodiles. Some of them are very big and scary with huge teeth! I did not want to get too close to them.

There was also a bird show. The keepers showed us different species of birds. I saw an old parrot. It could “talk” and made a great impression on me.

I enjoy the trip very much. There was so much to see.

A man named William Lindsay comes from Britain. When he was in primary school, he loved studying maps. The saw-tooth （锯齿般的） line in China caught his eye. He decided to visit the line, that is, the Great Wall of China. Driven by this dream, Lindsay set off on his Great Wall journey in 1984. However, he obviously underestimated its difficulty. Only a few days later, he had to give up because of illness. After returning to Britain, he began to exercise more.

With full preparation, Lindsay set off again in 1987. The hike took him about 160 days. This tall man met trouble when he was found to be walking along the Yulin Great Wall in Shaanxi. “Where is he from? What is he doing here?” The local villagers didn’t understand. Finally, the police came to investigate（调查）. Lindsay explained his love for the Wall but without success. The police didn’t allow him to continue his journey. At last, he had to leave.

Nothing could stop a willing heart. A few days later, Lindsay continued his journey from Inner Mongolia （内蒙古） . After many difficult days of hiking along the Great Wall, he was finally able to arrive at Shanhaiguan, a major pass at the eastern end of the Wall and the end of his great journey.

Through this trip, Lindsay developed a deeper understanding of the Great Wall. And the British man also had a deeper understanding of the old saying “Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.”

Last week I had a pretty good vacation with my family. We had great fun     34     (play) in different places. On Monday, the weather was     35     (sun) and hot. We went to White Beach     36     bus and swam in the water. On Tuesday, it was cloudy and humid (湿的). We visited two     37     (museum) in Central Park. We saw many old things. My parents love everything about India. So a year ago we went on a holiday there. It’s a wonderful country with beautiful scenes (景色) and interesting people. I will never eat another Indian meatball again!
