Do you want to be successful at a young age? The following advice (建议) can be helpful.

Stay alert (警觉的). Take proper (合适的) notes and sit straight, so you stay alert in class. Eat a good breakfast in the morning, and have a bottle of cold water with you to drink.

Ask questions. Many people don’t ask questions, because they are afraid it will make them seem not clever, but clever people question everything. If you don’t understand something, don’t wait until after class to ask your teacher. Just be brave (勇敢的) to put up your hand.

Go to the library. Check out books on science, maths, music and art. The library is a good place for you to learn more things. Ask your librarian (图书管理员) what books are the best for you. She can answer almost any question, or direct you to the answer, so go for it.

Learn a new language. There are some very good computer programs (程序). These programs can help you learn a new language.
