Justin 19:03 /Dec.15, 2021 | I would like sign language. Many people have trouble talking with those who have hearing problems. If we could start to learn it when we are young, it will be very helpful. We can learn to treat those who are unlucky with kindness. |
Kerr 22:11 /Dec.15, 2021 | I like a course that helps students understand themselves better. A person without a dream is like a ship sailing without a compass. Teaching students to know about themselves well can help them have more chances and a clear goal(目标) in life. |
Lucy 6:28 /Dec,16, 2021 | It would be a time-management class. Now, many students are addicted to their smartphones. They sleep late because they get lost in gaming. This class will help students learn that “first things come first.” This will help make sure they live a healthy life. |
Ben 17:39 /Dec.16, 2021 | Self-defense(自我防御). It is useful when you are in trouble and you need to protect yourself. You may say that P.E. is enough, but it only teaches you how to stay fit. P.E. teachers don’t teach any kind of self-defense, so we surely need to have such lessons. |

Over the past years, I’ve noticed that the number of pet dogs in public places is growing larger. I am sure you’ve noticed that.
This is not really a bad thing. Dogs live with humans for years. Most of the time, dogs are helpful to humans. The lovely animals bring happiness to us. Some dogs can even work for us. At the same time, dogs need us. Like humans, dogs are social animals. They need to be around people or other dogs.
It seems natural that dog owners can bring their pets with them all the time, wherever they go, right?
Not really. The fact is, not everyone likes dogs. Many people are afraid of dogs. What’s more, some people are allergic(对……过敏) to dogs. Meeting a dog can cause serious illnesses. In some places, people aren’t allowed (允许) to bring an animal of any kind.
Most people agree that the disabled (残疾人) need their dogs to help them all day long. Some people, however, take their pets everywhere just because they like them. These dogs have never get any training. They often bring problems. What’s worse, they can make the disabled unable to take dogs. To make no trouble, some public places have to keep all animals—including service dogs (服务犬)—out.
So we shouldn’t only think of ourselves. Don’t bring untrained (未训练的) dogs to public places. Let’s give a little room to people who really need service dogs.
29. What has the writer noticed over the past years?A.Humans have got a lot from dogs. |
B.There are now much more pet dogs in public places. |
C.More families now keep one more pet dog than before |
D.Dogs need humans just as much as humans need them. |
A.A lot of people are afraid of dogs. |
B.Almost all the dogs may bite and hurt people. |
C.Dogs may spread (传播) illnesses among people. |
D.Some people may get serious illnesses when meeting a dog. |
A.All the dogs should get service training. |
B.All the dogs are allowed in public places freely. |
C.Service dogs are usually allowed in public places. |
D.Service dogs are more popular among all the people. |
I’m very glad that I am chosen to speak to you all today. I’m a bit nervous(紧张的) as I’ve never made a talk before.
After three years’ hard work, and it’s time to say goodbye to everyone. We’re sorry to leave you at the end of our middle school education, and we’ll never forget the happy time we have spent in these buildings with you all.
I’d like to thank three groups of people for the three things I’ve learnt while I’ve been a student at our school. The three things are friendship, love and knowledge(知识).
The first group is my friends, and what I’ve learnt is the importance of friendship. We work hard together, and we even share some difficult times together, but we also have a lot of fun. Many of us will go to new schools and we may not see each other so often in the future. Others will go on to the same high school and keep on their close friendship. A life without old friends is like a day without sunshine. We’ll always stay in touch(保持联系).
The second group is our parents and grandparents. We thank you for the love during our years at school for making a home. At home we feel happy, safe and relaxed, and we can prepare ourselves for our school days.
And finally, the third group is our teachers. We can never pay you back for your kindness, your patience and knowledge. Sometimes you’ve been patient with us, sometimes you’ve made us work very hard. But you have always been fair(公正的) and you’ll always be our models.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all and wish you success for the future.
32. What’s the purpose(目的) of the speaker giving the talk?A.To say goodbye. | B.To talk about school life. | C.To show thanks. | D.To show sorry for leaving. |

A.The writer is thankful to have such a happy school life. |
B.The writer and his teachers hoped to see each other often. |
C.The writer’s teachers are not always kind, patient or fair. |
D.The writer didn’t feel nervous at all when giving the talk. |
Do you feel nervous when you talk to your parents? Do you easily make them angry? Don’t worry.
Find the same interests between you and your parents. For example, if you and your dad both like playing basketball, you can watch one game together and talk about it.
Try to start a dinnertime talk with your parents. Ask your parents about their day, and they will be open to you more easily. Don’t forget that you should be open to them.
If you follow my advice, it’s easy to get along well with (与和睦相处) your parents.

六、任务型阅读 添加题型下试题
Different people like different festivals. For me, I like International Volunteer Day best. It’s on December 5th. Luckily, I was born on that day.
I once worked as a volunteer at a Children’s Hospital in a small Town in South Africa. My job was to help make the kids feel happy while they were staying in the hospital. It maybe sounds interesting. But some people can’t understand why I did it.
I did volunteering mainly because it could help build a better future for people, no matter who or where they are. In this big world, so many people are in need of help.
Look at the children in the hospital where I worked. They felt scared (害怕的) and lonely when they faced all the difficulties since their parents also had other kids to care for. So, why not try to help as many people as possible?
Volunteering in Africa and helping people there let me see other parts of this planet (星球). And volunteering at the hospital showed me a side of the world I did not know about before. I met people from all over the world who have their own ideas, experiences (经历) and dreams. We got to share so much with each other.
I really felt close to these people. We shared amazing memories (记忆) and grew together. I wanted to go back to my country with new experiences and ideas so that, together, we can help more people and make a better future for everyone.
If everyone can lend a helping hand, the world will be more and more beautiful!
