When my parents came back, they found I was dirty and tired. After my neighbor told them the whole story, they were happy and said I was a brave (勇敢的) boy.

Teeth are important. Strong, healthy teeth help you chew (咀嚼) foods that help you grow. They help you speak clearly. And yes, they help you look best. Here are some tips for you to take care of your teeth:

·Brush your teeth the right way.

Brush your teeth at least twice a day—after breakfast and before bedtime. If you can, brush after lunch or after sweet snacks (点心), too. Brush all of your teeth, not just the front ones. Spend time brushing teeth along the sides and back of your mouth. Spend at least three minutes each time you brush. Play a song you like to help pass the time. Get a new toothbrush every three months. When you buy toothbrush, be sure it has soft (柔软的) bristles (鬃毛).

·Learn how to floss (用牙线清洁牙齿) your teeth.

Flossing is a very important way to keep your teeth healthy. Food may hide (隐藏) between two teeth. Flossing can help throw it away. You’ll need to floss your teeth at least once a day.

·Have good eating habits.

You need to be careful about what you eat and drink. Eating sugar is a major (主要的) cause of tooth decay (蛀牙). Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and drink water instead of soda (苏打).

How often do you exercise? What sports do you often do? Do you like walking, running, cycling or swimming? They’re all aerobic (有氧的) exercise and are good for people’s health.

Now people get less aerobic exercise than before because of the Internet. For example, some young people spend over four hours a day using the Internet, but they only spend 20 minutes doing exercise. Lots of doctors are worried about that. They say if people don’t do exercise often, they may fall ill easily.

Schools are teaching students to exercise when they’re young. PE is a sport subject. It teaches students how to play and exercise. Through the subject, teachers and parents wish kids to get into good exercise habits and keep them as they grow up.

Lots of companies (公司) suggest aerobic exercise at work. A study shows that people can be open-minded and do better in their work if they often do aerobic exercise. Now many companies have sports activities and exercise rooms for the workers.

There are many other kinds of aerobic exercise. Find your favorite one and start doing it. It will help you live a healthy life.
