Lin Hai is a student of Grade 7. His brother is Lin Tao. He is a student of Grade 9. They are in the same school. The new term is coming. They come to a store and buy some school things in it. Let’s have a look. Lin Hai buys four notebooks and two pens. Lin Tao likes blue, so he buys a blue pencil box.

Mr. Hand is busy every day. He has a big clothes store. He usually gets up at 6:00. After brushing his teeth, he does some running. Usually, he has breakfast at 6:30 and takes a bus to his store at 7:00. His clothes are cheap. So many people go to his clothes store to buy clothes. He usually has lunch at 11:30 in the store. For lunch, he usually eats hamburgers, salad and oranges. He gets home at about 19:00. He has dinner with his families — his wife Julia Brown and daughter Nancy Hand. They like chicken, salad and potatoes. After dinner, he takes a shower. Then he watches TV. He does to bed at 21:30.

The food in Britain (英国) is very different from our Chinese food. For example, they eat a lot of potatoes. They like to eat them every day. They eat bread for breakfast. They eat their bread with butter, cheese (奶酪) or jam (果酱). And those things we don’t eat much in China. Cheese and butter are made from (由……制成) milk. They drink a lot of milk, too. They drink the milk cold or hot, and they put it in their tea. They put sugar in their tea, as well. They are the world’s biggest tea drinkers. They like Chinese tea, but they drink mostly strong black tea from India and Sri Lanka (斯里兰卡). They don’t eat much rice. For their main meal they like meat or fish with potatoes and one or two vegetables. They serve all these together. After the main meal they always have something sweet. They call this dessert. They don’t have jiaozi in Britain.

Miss Lin, my English teacher, helps me a lot. She is tall and has long hair. She asks us to read English books every day. She says it is a good way to study English. My favorite teacher is Mr. Zhao. He is our math teacher. He is kind to students and his students all like him. He is good at singing. He is so cool.

I like my school and my teachers. They are very nice. They are all very good teachers.

Eat with your friends. It can help you to see others’ healthy eating habits. If you often eat with people you love, you will feel the food you eat is more delicious.

Don’t eat dinner late. Some people have dinner very late because of the busy life. It’s not good for the body. We should have dinner at least（至少） three hours before going to bed.
