I use my eyes to find food, too. But I can only see colors like black, red or dark blue well.

Spring Festival (春节) is the Chinese New Year. It always comes in January or February. And it’s a great festival in China.

When Spring Festival comes, people are busy. They need to clean and tidy houses, buy good food and new clothes, paste door-god and spring couplets (贴门神和春联) and so on.

On the eve of Spring Festival (除夕), the family come home from other places. They get together and have a big dinner. They eat jiaozi and some other nice food in their homes. Usually all the family help make jiaozi together at home. Making jiaozi together has a long history. Some families have a party at night. They sing, dance and have a good time. It is really a relaxing and fun night.

2023 is the Year of the Rabbit (兔). The Chinese always think black rabbits come with money. Sounds interesting?
