At the age of 12, Romario Valentine is famous around the world. Why? Because he wrote a book named Protect Our Planet:Take Action with Romario.

Romario is a boy from Durban in South Africa. He is famous around the world for his tree planting and beach clean-up projects. As soon as I could walk, I climbed up a hill that was nearby to see where I was. Was I on a continent or an island? Were there people? Were there wild animals? From the top of the hill, I could see that I was on an island. The sea was all around me, and I could see no other land. I saw no sign of people on the island, nor any wild animals.
