Lu Hong was diagnosed (诊断) with cerebral palsy (脑瘫) when he was a child. His disabilities meant that he spent his primary and middle school years in pain. Every time he had P. E. class, all his classmates could run and jump as they liked on the playground while he had to sit alone in the classroom.
