②Many students find the comfort of their own space helpful for studying. A familiar (熟悉的) environment can make it easier to face stress. You have all your things around you, and you don’t have to spend extra (额外的) money on lunch. You can study day or night and stop for a break whenever you want. ③However, it’s not without problems. Your comfortable bed may keep you from studying. Have you ever been told not to mistake a place to rest for a place to work? If your bedroom becomes a place for both, your mind may do both tasks (任务) badly.
④Libraries are specially designed (设计) for people to study in. There are many kinds of helpful books, and you can meet other students and set up a study group. But libraries also have their disadvantages. They are often crowded. It can be hard to get a seat. And there may be noise from people typing (打字) on their computers.
⑤It can be difficult to decide whether your home or the library is a better place to study. You need to try them out. For example, take a task like reading. First, try studying in your living room. Then, go to the library and read a different part of the same book. After trying each, take notes to describe how you felt and how well you were able to study. This way you can find out which study environment is better for you.
