Parents always buy new clothes for their children and children also buy presents for their parents. On the Spring Festival Eve (除夕), the family members come back home. They sing, dance and play cards. When they enjoy the meal, they give each other the best wishes for the coming year. They all have a good time.

This is our classroom. It's a nice and big room. The walls are all white and the windows are big. There are four rows ( 排 ) of desks and chairs in it. The number of the desks and chairs is fifty-four. There is a big blackboard in the room, too. We have a map of China in our classroom. It's on the wall near the blackboard. We have a clock. It’s over(在…上方) the blackboard. The teacher’s desk is near the blackboard, too. There are some flowers on the windows. In the room there are seven lights.

There are some books and school things on our desks. We like our classroom very much.

Everybody wants to be healthy. How do you keep healthy?

Food is very important for you. There are many healthy foods. You can have more bananas, apples, oranges, tomatoes, carrots because fruit and vegetables are good for you. But don't eat too much chocolate and meat. They are not good healthy food. Healthy food can make you grow and make you strong and happy. Remember there is a saying (谚语), “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

Sports can also keep you healthy. Get up early and do some sports every day. Don’t be lazy ( 懒惰的)! You will be healthy and happy. You will be healthy if you remember to eat healthy food and do some sports.

Mrs. Green is Jim’s mother. She loves her family very much. She goes to the stores every day. She often buys food, fruit and clothes for Jim and her husband(丈夫). Now many clothes are on sale at Sunshine Clothes Store. They are very cheap. Mrs. Green comes to the store and she wants to buy some clothes for her family. There they have sweaters in all clothes for ￥50 each and sports shoes for only￥35 a pair. Mrs. Green likes the red sweater and she buys one for herself. She buys a pair of sports shoes for her son. The T-shirts in the store are just ￥25 each! She buys a white one for Mr. Green. And that's not all. The socks in all colors are ￥5 each. She buys the socks in many colors for her family. She is really a good mother and a good wife (妻子).
