As soon as Bassanio and Graziano left for Venice, Portia told Lorenzo that she and Nerissa were going to stay in a convent(女修道院)until their husbands came back. She told him she wanted to prepare herself for marriage. She asked Lorenzo and Jessica to look after the palace and the servants until she came back. Lorenzo was very happy to do this for her. He thought she was a very wise and kind woman. “Bassanio was lucky to have her for his wife,” he said. Portia said she agreed to let Bassanio go to Venice because Antonio’s letter showed her that he must be a very good man.

“He will give you some clothes and other things to bring back to me,” she said, “Bring them to the ship that goes to Venice. Hurry! I will be at the ship before you get there,”

The servant hurried away with the letter, and Portia called Nerissa. “Come on, Nerissa,” she said, “we are going to see our husbands sooner than they think.”

I will talk about the battles(战争)I have won. I will tell lies about the women who fell in love with me. 【推荐1】Each nation has many good people who help to take care of others. For example, some high school and college students in the United States often spend many hours as volunteers in hospitals, orphanages (孤儿院) or homes for the old. They read books to the people in these places, or they just visit them and play games with them or listen to their problems.

Other young volunteers go and work in the homes of people who are sick or old. They paint, clean up, or repair their houses, do their shopping or mow their lawns. For boys who no longer have fathers there is an organization called Big Brothers. College students and other men take these boys to baseball games or on fishing trips and help them to get to know things that boys usually learn from their fathers.

Each city has a number of clubs where boys and girls can go to play games or learn crafts. Some of these clubs show movies or organize short trips to the mountains, the beaches, museums or other places of interest.
