【推荐1】My name is Lisa. I usually get up early in the morning. I always have breakfast at a quarter past six. I go to school at ten to seven. I am never late for school.

I have many lessons in the morning. At around twelve o’clock, I have lunch at school. In the afternoon, I am not busy. After school, I do my homework first, then I play with my friends.                 

In the evening, my parents come back from work. We have dinner together. I go to bed at half past nine. But my father often works late at night.

Ann comes from Canada. She is Canadian. She speaks English and French, and she can speak a little Chinese because she is in Hong Kong now. She is studying in a middle school there. She has classes from Monday to Friday. On Sundays she often play games with her new Chinese friends. Her father is working in Hong Kong. He is a language teacher, and Ann’s mother is also a teacher. They all like Hong Kong and the people there. This summer they plan to go to Sichuan for a trip, because they want to eat Sichuan food.

【推荐1】Our new neighbours are the Browns. They have two children, a boy and a girl. The boy is Jack and the girl is Alice. Jack is 11, and he is one year older than me. Alice and my sister Nancy are 8 years old.

At weekends, Nancy and I like to go to play with Alice and Jack. Both Jack and I really enjoy playing computer games. Sometimes the girls join us, but the games they enjoy are different from the ones we like.

There is a big park near our houses. Sometimes, when the weather is fine, the four of us will go for bike rides there. We often stop at the huge playground to have some fun. Jack and I like to play basketball, but the girls prefer to sing and dance.

Our families often have dinner together. On some days, they come over to our house, and on other days, we go over to theirs. Mr. Brown and his wife cook really well.

Nancy and I are very glad to have the Browns next door. It’ s great to have friends living so near.

【推荐2】I live in a nice new building in Beijing. It is very tall. It has eighteen floors. There are about eighty families in the building. That is to say (也就是说), about two hundred and forty people live in the building.

My home is on the twelfth (第十二) floor. We have two bedrooms and a living room. They are big and clean. There are a lot of big trees and beautiful flowers around our building. I like looking out of the window in my room. I can see cars and buses running in the street. I can see people walking in the street, too. They look so small! I can also see a lot of tall buildings. How beautiful Beijing is! I am happy to live in this nice, new and tall building.

【推荐3】There is a big supermarket(超市) near my home. Its name is Pricelow. It has lots of things. You can buy school things like notebooks, pens, rulers, pencils, erasers and pencil boxes. You can buy vegetables, fruit and all kinds of food. You can also buy clothes. Some of the things there are cheap, and anybody can afford the price. But some of them are dear.

The supermarket is open every day from 7: 00 am to 8: 00 pm. The workers there are very good. They work hard all day. They are happy to answer your questions. They help you if you want to buy anything. There are many people on weekends. They buy lots of things. Sometimes they have breakfast, lunch or dinner there.

【推荐1】Mike works very long hours every day. He usually gets up at 17:00. He has a shower and makes his breakfast. What a funny time to make breakfast! After breakfast, he practices his guitar, and then he puts on his jacket and goes to work. To get to work, he takes the number 17 bus to the Star Hotel. The bus usually leaves at 19:15. He works all night. People love to listen to him! He gets home at 7:00, and he watches the early morning news(新闻)on TV. He goes to bed at 8:30. Can you think what his job is?

Hello, boys and girls! I’m from Shanghai and my English name is Helen. Now this term is from September to December. I have many subjects this term. They are math, Chinese, English, history, computer, music, geography, science, art and P.E. My favorite subjects are English and P.E. I can talk (谈话) with some students in English now. In the P.E. lesson, I can do many sports. And they are really interesting. I can play soccer and basketball well. And my favorite sport is soccer. Art is very relaxing. I can draw (画) fruit, clothes, desks and many fun things in the art class. Our art teacher is very nice. She always takes us out to draw things.
