It lets us have friends stay over who might not fit inside the house! Follow these instructions and you’ll have a night you’ll never forget!
Put up your tent.
Depending on the number of family members and guests, you may need more than one tent. Tell your friends to bring their tents if needed. Follow the instructions or check out the articles on how to put up a tent on the Internet.
Prepare your bedding.
You’ll want your guests to be able to relax. Put something soft to lie on on the floor: a mattress(床垫) or thick comforters may work well. Fill the tent with soft toys and blankets(毯子). Have lightweight sleeping bags or cotton blankets. They are especially important if you live where the temperature drops greatly at night.
Prepare a seating area.
If you have a picnic table, that would work best. If not, set up a few chairs and a small table to set out drinks and food. A simple choice is to lay out a blanket in the sun, so that your friends can eat and talk together. Be sure the grass isn’t wet!
Make memories.
Plan some activities. You’re camping in the backyard, so it’s time to make the most of being outdoors. Have a camera nearby to take photos of you, your family members, and your friends. Take one large group shot(照片) with everyone smiling and laughing. Be sure to make copies for everyone!

【推荐2】Happiness is a feeling that lights up your eyes, makes your steps light and makes you want to sing for no reason.
When you are happy, the world feels like a better place. As the saying goes:When you smile, the world smiles with you;when you cry, you cry alone. Wearing a smile makes you more charming(迷人的) and helps you to win lots of friends. A good mood always gives you hope, which makes trouble and problems easier to handle(处理).
No matter how happy you are, it’s normal to feel angry or sad once in a while. Life is full of ups and downs. We can’t change the way life is, but we can do our best to change a bad situation(状况)into a good one. To help us do this, it’s good to know some of the factors(因素)that influence happiness.
One of the biggest factors is social relationships. People who are close to family and friends are happier than people who don’t have those relationships. Talking and sharing is a good way to relax and build confidence.
Another factor is work or school. If you enjoy school, even if you have lots of homework or extra classes, you will feel that your school life is meaningful and happy. But if you hate school, your negative attitude(消极的态度)may cause you to feel bored and upset that you hate to do so much work.
A third factor is your attitude towards life. How do you feel if you fail in an exam? Maybe you think it’s unfair because you always study and should have got a good mark. You can’t stop blaming(责备)yourself. Or, maybe you accept it. You go through the paper carefully, find out why you made stupid mistakes, and tell yourself, “Take it easy! I’ll do better next time!”Your attitude makes a big difference.

Note-taking is a skill that can help you do well in all your schoolwork. It can make you confident when you are studying. However, most students don"t know how to take notes.
The following tips may help you.
Write down key facts. Don"t try to write down every word in class. If your teacher writes notes on the blackboard, that"s great. You can copy them or write down the most important facts of all in class. Different teachers do things differently. For example, some teachers may focus on (关注) lots of dates and facts in class, but they only write the important ones on the blackboard.
Other teachers may not write anything down, but they may repeat them.
Ask. Don"t be afraid to ask your teacher to repeat what you"re missed. If your teacher speaks too fast and you can"t follow what he is saying, you can ask him after class.
Compare. Comparing (对比) your notes with your classmates’ can be good for your learning. It can also help you and your classmates correct some mistakes.
Organize. Note-taking also needs organization. Keep notes for each subject in one place, so that you can find everything easily when a test comes.
Good note-taking takes time. If you decide to recopy your notes every evening, you"ll surely have less time to watch TV. But you"ll save time in the coming test.

Why are so many people so afraid to fail? Quite simply because no one tells us how to face the failure (失败). In fact, failure can become experience that means growth. We forget that failure is part of the human condition and that every person has the right to fail.
Most parents work hard to prevent failure or protect their children. One way is to lower (降低) standards. Nearly 60% of the parents choose this way. When a child finishes making a table, the mother describes it as “perfect” even though it doesn’t stand still. The other way is to blame (责怪) others. If John fails in science, his teacher is unfair or stupid.
There’s a problem with the two ways. It makes a child unprepared for the real life if they don’t meet enough failure. The young need to learn that no one can be the best at everything, no one can win all the time. The young should be allowed to experience failure.
Failure never gives people pleasure. It hurts both grown-ups and children. But it can be really good to your life when you learn to use it.

For anyone experiencing the struggle of foreign language learning, here’s my way of learning Chinese.
Study abroad.
You can try to study abroad. It’s the laziest method because although my Chinese is so poor right now. Every day I’m still exposed (曝光的) to so much. It helps me keep good level of Chinese.
Find friends who don’t speak English.
Finding friends who don’t speak your mother tongue (母语) is the best way to improve. And this doesn’t even need to be local friends. I liked to hang out with Korean and Japanese friends because they were also learning Chinese. We were asked not to speak English but Chinese. In this way, my Chinese skills improved a lot.
Go to KTV.
Singing is such a great group activity, but it is terrible when you don’t know the songs. Ask your friends for a list of classic KTV songs and start learning your favourites. You’ll learn more grammar structures. For example, you can learn lots of romantic sounding phrases to express your love in Chinese songs.
Watch YouTube!
If you don’t have time for foreign language films or TV shows, find vlogs (视频博客) or even different kinds of shows by people who speak your desired language! I love watching vlogs in Chinese because it’s another way to get used to hearing real-life conversations. And it is a good way to learn new slangs (俚语) and phrases.
I think language learning is sometimes difficult, but try to keep it fun!

It’s good manners to say “excuse me” if we need to get another person’s attention. However, good manners are not only words but also actions. When we give someone else our seats on a crowded(拥挤的) bus, when we hold the door open for another person to walk through, when we knock before opening the closed door of a room, those things show good manners. When we meet someone for the first time, it’s good manners to smile and say “hello” and give our name. When people come to our house, it’s good manners to greet them with a smile, and say something like “thank you for coming” when they go home.
Sometimes, good manners be the things we don’t do. When we don’t talk with a full mouth or cut into the line, that is showing good manners. When we don’t try to get the attention of someone on the telephone, that’s good manners, too.
People often feel “not quite right”. Bad weather, a stressful(紧张的) day, and sickness can make people upset easily. But when we use good manners, we can make people feel more comfortable.
