“Early to bed and early to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.” These words of Benjamin Franklin have been backed by science. It has been proved that morning people are persistent and active. It leads to better performance, greater success, and higher standards of living. Rising up early also reduces stress because it gives you the time to squeeze in a workout before you get distracted(心烦意乱的).
Recent research has found that late sleepers generally need about 248 more calories than those who rise early. They prefer to only eat half as much fruit and vegetables and twice as much fast food as those early risers.
If you get into the habit of rising early and going to bed early you are more likely to have a better sleeping pattern.

If you have one sock but not the other, what can you do? Have some fun and make a puppet! A puppet is a toy you put on your hand. Learn how to make one with a sock.
Things you need:
One sock Glue (胶水) A pair of scissors (剪刀) Two buttons (纽扣) Colored paper |
Instructions
Put your hand inside the sock. Practice opening and closing the sock with your hand so it looks like a mouth talking.
Now that you know where the puppet’s mouth is, you need to decide where you want to put the eyes. Take your hand out of the puppet and glue two buttons where you want the eyes to be.
With scissors, cut the colored paper into long pieces. This is the puppet’s hair.
Take one of the long pieces of colored paper and put some glue on one end. Glue it above the puppet’s eyes. Do this for each piece of paper. Now your puppet has hair.
Your puppet is done. Now you can play with your puppet and pretend (假装) that it can talk. You can even put on a show for your family and friends!

We still know very little about space, and about living in zero gravity. In fact, we are discovering new things every time astronauts take to the skies (and beyond). As The Atlantic reported in January, crying is not all that simple in space. This is because when a person normally cries, gravity makes their tears move downwards. But in a spacecraft, this is not the case. Here, there is no gravity, which is why we so often see pictures of astronauts floating around. This means that, strangely, when you cry your tears have nowhere to go. As a result, they just stick to your eyes.
In May 2011, astronaut Andrew Feustel experienced this. “Tears,” as he said, “don’t fall off your eye… they just kind of stay there. ” This can be quite painful. In space, your eyes get very dry, and the added moisture is irritating (气人的). Sometimes, things get even weirder(更怪异的). The astronaut Ron Parise told The Atlantic that when tears get big enough, they “break free of the eye and float around”.
No one can be quite sure why we cry. Why should water in our eyes have anything to do with feeling sad? If you stop to think about it, crying is a very strange thing indeed. And now, thanks to the wonders of space, it just got even stranger.

A.living in space is lonely |

By learning to forget
Most of us have probably been angry with our friends, parents or teachers. Perhaps they said something you didn’t like, or you felt they were unfair. Sometimes, people can stay angry for years about a small problem. Time goes by, and good friendships may be lost. When we are angry, however, we are usually the ones affected. Perhaps we have seen young children playing together. Sometimes they have disagreements, and decide not to talk to each other. However, this usually does not last for long. This is an important lesson for us: we can solve a problem by learning to forget.
By regarding problems as challenges
Many students often complain about school. They might feel they have too much work to do sometimes, or think the rules are too strict. We must learn how to change these “problems” into “challenges”. Education is an important part of our development. As young adults, it is our duty to try our best to deal with each challenge in our education with the help of our teachers.
By thinking of something worse
By comparing yourself to other people, you will find your problems are not so terrible. Think about Stephen Hawking, for example, a very clever scientist, who regards his many physical problems as unimportant. He can’t walk or even speak, but he has become very famous and successful. We are probably quite healthy and smart. Let’s not worry about our problems. Let’s face the challenges instead.
