Stopping Jackie was like moving a 1,000,000,000-pound rock. He was a good baseball player, too. The City Theater has the newest movies and the most comfortable seats. The prices of the tickets are also fair, but it’s the oldest cinema in my town and it isn’t open on Tuesday and Thursday.
The Guihe Cinema is the most modern(现代的) cinema with the biggest screens. However, the service isn’t so good and people can’t bring food or drinks into the cinema. They can only buy them inside the cinema, and the food and drinks are usually much more expensive than those outside.
The Star Cinema is my favorite. It has the funniest movies and the seats are very comfortable. It is open every day, and if you go there on Monday and Wednesday mornings, you can buy tickets at half price. It also provides(提供) free water and the big hall can hold two hundred people at a time. Of course, the screens are really large.
So I’d like to invite my friends to see a film at the Star Cinema on my birthday. I usually had a party to celebrate my birthday, but this year I’d like to do something different.
