In the USA, many students like going to the fast food restaurants with their friends. They can eat hamburgers and ice-cream there. They like ice-cream very much. But fast food isn’t good for students’ health. For me, I don’t like fast food because I don’t want to be fat.
Many students’ eating habits in China are not the same. I love China and I love Chinese food. When I come to China, I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. I think they are healthy food. In the morning, I eat baozi, two eggs and an apple. For lunch, I have rice, chicken and tomatoes. In the evening, I eat vegetable salad, carrots and a banana. And I have milk, too. If you agree to go to a friend’s party in America, it is better not to change it, for the Americans arrange the table and food for the number of guests they have invited.
If the Americans ask you to the party at six in the afternoon, they do not want you to come “on time”, you can come at 6:15. But remember, never be later than fifteen minutes after six.
At table you can talk everything as you wish, but you must say something nice about the food. If you really do not like the food, you may say something about how nice it looks or ask how it is made.
If you are hungry, it is all right to help yourself to more food. Nobody would help you every time you finish something.
