In the morning, we went camping along a path in Green Natural Park. It was a sunny day. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes. We were expecting(期待) a w    1     two-day holiday.

However, in the afternoon, when we finished our picnic at one o’clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a shower. Unluckily, n    2     of us brought an umbrella. We ran around but we could find no place to hide.

Twenty minutes passed and it was s    3     raining. There were hours to go before we reached the campsite. It was even worse that our small compass(指南针) showed that we went to the wrong way. We had l    4     our way!

We had to make a quick decision as it was raining heavily. Chris said we could set up a tent to hide in, so Mary and Tom helped to set up the tent. Chris and I tried to make a fire to keep us warm. But we couldn’t light the fire b    5     everything was wet. We dried ourselves, talked and waited inside the tent. At about five o’clock, it stopped raining. We decided to give up the camping trip. All of us had been very tired.

As we arrived at Waterloo Station, he had w    4     out where we were going. He smiled h    5     . When we reached the London Eye, there was a very long waiting line, so in order to s    6    time, he stayed in the line while I went to buy the tickets.
