I think it is a really good way to practice our communication skills by speaking English. If we travel with our parents around the world, we have to talk to others, especially in English. And there are not so many chances for that at school. So I think we should travel like them.

Zhang Qiwen, 14, from Jiangsu:

I will travel with my parents. Why do we study? We go to school to learn more about the world. If we have a better way to learn about it, why don’t we do it? We can see lots of amazing things when we travel around the world with our parents. Having classes at school is boring and useless. I like traveling better.

Zhang Yuxi, 15, from Shanghai:

It is too dangerous to stop studying to travel. Our parents can’t make sure that they know everything. There are lots of dangers in a completely strange environment. We can’t take a risk of putting ourselves in danger. If we do, we’ll be really foolish.

Wang Quan, 14, from Beijing:

I think we have enough time to study at school as well as do some traveling. We need to study at school because it makes sure that we won’t fall behind our peers (同龄人). And we can also travel in the summer or winter holidays. It helps us to broaden our horizon (拓宽视野) and learn things not in books. But I don’t think it is a good idea to stop studying to travel.
