【推荐3】We usually learn new things for amusement and professional development. No matter what the purpose of learning is, you should take effort to learn something new every day. Only a few of us are lifelong learners, but most people are busy with their habitual everyday routines (日常工作) and activities. However, learning something new daily offers great benefits (好处) and possibilities. You can find learning chances everywhere since people are overwhelmed with free sources of knowledge these days. Incorporate (吸收) a habit of learning something new into your daily routine and enrich your life with fresh ideas, new people and inspiration.

New information promotes (促进) self-improvement and personal growth. Successful people say that personal growth is the key to their achievements, that’s why they are never satisfied with what they’ve already learned. When we learn something new, we get new experience and skills. It means we deepen our understanding of the world and unleash (释放) our hidden talent. Moreover, learning new things will make you proud and increase your self-confidence.

I was always too busy to add an additional point to my daily schedule. That’s the main reason why I never had enough time to read and learn new things for my hobbies. However, I’ve learnt that having one more task on my to-do list is the best way to structure my daily routine and improve my time perception (观念). I’ve realized I should manage time wisely. Stop complaining that you don’t have free time to read. Learn to use your time more efficiently so that you can do things you want to do.

I realize that I’ve met most of my friends while learning new things and obtaining new experiences. When you join an organization or a club, you are surrounded with like-minded people and just uncommon characters. Chances are you’ll find close friends among them.

【推荐1】In summer, children like to go to the zoo to watch the animals. There are many animals .They are monkeys, tigers, birds, snakes, lions, bears, etc (等等). But there isn’t a rabbit or a sheep. Monkeys like to eat bananas. Look, they are eating bananas. Tigers like to eat meat. Look, they are eating meat. They can eat much meat every time. The lions look very lazy (懒的). Look, they are sleeping. Children are very happy to watch them. Look, they are laughing and laughing. But, I think animals are our friends. They should (应该) live in the forest.

One day a poor man was cutting a big piece of wood near a river. Suddenly his old axe (斧子) fell into the water. He felt very sad because he lost his only axe. Then all at once a beautiful fairy (仙女) came out and asked the man what was the matter.

“I have lost my axe.” he said, “It fell into the water when I was cutting the wood.”

【推荐3】I am Garrison. I live on a small farm in Kenya. Since the age of nine, I have helped to look after my family’s cows. As a child, in my free time, I enjoyed trying new ideas. Sometimes I could make my own inventions, such as electronic toys from car parts and peach-picking sticks. I also made other useful daily things for my neighbors.

At the age of thirteen, I invented something that changed my life. One night, a lion came into my family’s farm and killed one of our cows. I was angry. However, I thought catching the lion was not a safe way to solve the problem. So I decided to “invent” a solution.

The first idea I got was to use fire, because I thought the lion was scared of fire. But I came to know that didn’t help, because it was even helping the lion to see through the cowshed （牛棚）. However, I didn’t give up. I continued.

And a second idea I got was to use a scarecrow （稻草人）. I was trying to trick the lion into thinking that I was standing near the cowshed. But the lion was very clever. It came the first day, saw the scarecrow, and went back. But the second day, it came and found that the scarecrow didn’t move. It was always there! So the lion jumped in and killed another cow.

However, one night, I was walking around the cowshed with a torch （手电筒）. To my surprise, the lion didn’t show up. Then I realized that the lion was afraid of a moving light. So I had an idea...
