A blog is public, so it has some bad points. The biggest problem is that anyone can read what you write. If I am angry with a friend at school and write something bad about him in my diary, he will never know. However, if my sister writes something bad about a friend, that friend may read her blog and be sad. So we must be very careful about what to write.

Of course, blogs have good points. If I feel lonely and write “Nobody cares about me.” in my diary, no one will know about it. However, if my sister write the same words in her blog, her friends will quickly reply and tell her how much they care about her. A blog helps people keep in contact (联系) with their friends.

If people are careful, writing blogs is really a good way to communicate with others. However, I still enjoy my diary!
