Xia’s journey to bringing creative experiments into his teaching began six years ago. His idea came from a wish to interest his first students in 2017, who had difficulty learning physics.
Over the years, Xia has done over 200 experiments in his classes, nearly one experiment a week. At first, he put up his videos online just for sharing. In February 2021, one of his videos unexpectedly became popular, bringing him over 10,000 followers.
