I’m Robert from Germany. Recently, my teacher     1     me to live in a Chinese village all on my own for two days.

My trip started early in the morning. When I     2     at the village — Fengpuso, my host family welcomed me with open arms. They had already prepared lunch for me, and they told me I could     3     them Mama and Baba. They told me that they built their house themselves. After lunch, I went to work     4     a farm with Baba. Later we walked to a bamboo forest to cut fresh roots (根), and then we went fishing. That evening, I had     5     freshest dinner I’d ever had.

The     6     day I woke up early to work on the farm with Baba again. After work, we returned home. We had a short rest     7     Mama was preparing lunch.
