For those of us who are studying at school, the time of exams is very stressful and difficult. Some people find exam times so bad that they become ill, because they are afraid of failing; they are afraid of letting their parents and family down.    1    Talk to someone about it. Maybe you can speak to a friend, or someone in your family, or teachers at your place of study. If one person doesn’t help you, ask someone else.

    2    Here is some advice:

Ask a teacher or tutor about how to review your lessons, and exam skills—how to work when you are in an exam.

Take short rests during your time of work. If your mind is tired, it will not remember well.

Plan your work: study at times when you know you will work at your best.

Get enough sleep, and eat healthy food.

You need exercise to work well.    3

Stop thinking about the future and failing.

If you feel ill, talk to someone about your worries. But don’t be too relaxed! Some stress over exams makes you work hard for them.

If it upsets you to talk to your friends about an exam when it is finished, don’t do it! In fact, don’t even think about the exam you have finished. What is done is done.    4

To this advice, we could add:

If you are studying in the evening, don’t go straight to bed. Your mind will still be “going round and round”—thinking too much.    5    Choose something that will relax you, and make you think of other things.

A.If exams are really making you ill or worried, don’t hide your feelings.
B.Do something else, maybe walk or get exercise.
C.How to get through exams?
D.You cannot change what you have written!
E.Walk, run and play sport—whatever you enjoy.

【推荐1】Is there someone you hate? Well, maybe you don’t really hate them. But you get really angry every time you think of them. If you don’t let this anger go, it can turn into bitterness.

Bitterness often appears when we can’t forgive someone who has hurt us or made us angry. Someone might say or do something that hurts us. But instead of controlling the anger, we keep it deep inside. Before long, a bitter feeling begins to grow. We may think we’re hurting that person by criticizing him or her often, but we’re really only hurting ourselves.

Bitterness can not only lead to serious health problems such as heart disease, but also hurt our relationship with friends and family members. No one enjoys being around an anger person for very long.

If you see bitterness in your life, here are some ways to help you to deal with it.

Accept it

Instead of trying to deny your anger, make it clear to yourself and accept it. See your anger for what it is and quickly deal with it.

Stop making excuses for it

You may feel you have a right to be angry. You may think you’re right and the other person is wrong. You may even secretly enjoy making the other person look bad. But in the end, bitterness hurts you much more than the other person. The bitterness will hold you back, and the other person will go on with his or her life.

Forgive and forget it

You probably can’t completely put the anger out of your mind. But you can decide to forgive the other person. Forget it and move on. You’ll enjoy better health and peace of mind.

Most people just throw them away. With the development of electric industry, e-waste pollution has become a serious problem. The fresh snow brings endless possibilities: skiing, snowmen, snowball fights, and best of all, snow angels.

For the past 17 years, I’ve made over 100 snow angels. Over time, I have learned the perfect skills behind creating a snow angel.     1

Find the proper snow

This is the most important step because without snow you can’t make a snow angel.     2     However, even though there isn’t any snow now, you can still make a spiritual snow angel! Although it won’t leave an imprint (痕迹) on the ground, you know it will be there in spirit!

    3

Once you find the perfect place for your snow angel (or spiritual snow angel), you’ll want to lie flat on your back. Of course, you could also lie on your front.     4

Move your arms and legs up and down

5     Then raise your arms upwards to about 120° and your legs around 120° apart (分开). When you first start making snow angels, you may want to bring a protractor (量角器) outside, so you can make sure your snow angels are perfect!

Now, go out there and make the perfect snow angels!

A.But that may be a less proper choice.
B.Lie flat on the ground on your back.
C.And I’m here to share it with the world.
D.Start with your arms and legs against your side.
E.The best type of snow to use is freshly fallen, soft snow.
