1 . Today is a nice day. We have a new family member. Her name is Amy.     1     There are four people in my family now. 3 . This is a picture of our school library. The library is big and nice. It has 40 chairs. The chairs are blue. I like the color. Some pictures of the school are on the wall. The library has 30 bookcases. They have the same color as the chairs. Many books are in the bookcases. My favorite books are about animals. But my deskmate, Jenny, likes books about computers very much. There are so many students reading there. They all love reading. They look so happy!

7 . A crow (乌鸦) wants to drink, but he can’t find water. He looks here and there. Then, he finds a jar (罐子) , and there is a little water in it. He wants to get the water, but he can’t. Because the water in the jar isn’t high (高的) . “What can I do? I want to drink.” He looks here and there, then he picks up a small stone (石头) in his mouth and drops it into the jar. “Soon the water will be high in the jar, and I can drink,” says the crow. So he begins to do that until (直到) the water is high enough to drink.
