As we know, apologies are one of the tool that we make use of them to build good friendships and relationships. Saying you are sorry are more than just words. You are also saying that you respect the other person but care about his feelings.
Generally, a sincere apology contributes to fix everything right away. Sometimes, you may need to give the other person some time because he may take a while for someone to stop feeling upset. When someone makes apology to you, you may welcome it. And then you may finally forgive him by what he has said or has done. Therefore, if a person keeps hurting you and apologizing without making an effort to change, you may not be willingly to hang out with that person any more.
