Last Saturday, the Environmental Protection Club of our school hold a clean-up project in the People’s Park so as to raise the environmental aware of the public. A number of volunteer gathered at the school gate, but went to the park by bike. Some of them picked up the litter, and some were put the rubbish into the dustbins. Many visitors came to our help, showing considerable appreciation and support. That they did made the park much clean and more attractive. The project was great success and the club decided to organized such activities regularly.

Last weekend, my classmates and I took the trip to the Wetland Park. Upon arrival, we attracted by the beautiful scenery there. The park was really a nice place for him to go bird-watching. I just come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb. 16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District (大湖区). I learned much about British culture and history in London, that was my favorite.
I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much old buildings. The Lake District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited thing for me in the Britain was that I made a lot of friends.

One Saturday morning, I suddenly notice my room was a completely mess, what really annoyed me. I realized too many useful things took up a lot of space. On-line voting becomes increasing popular. Many competitions get people involving in it. It is beneficial to some people, but it puts the others into a dilemma over if to vote or not. In my opinion, on-line voting should be welcomed, since it is just a way to participate public life. It is similar in ordinary voting events, in which candidates go around to seek vote. In addition, the Internet make voting easy and convenient, regardless of time and space.
Things will turn much good if we can work out some rules for people to obey. Therefore, I hold a positive attitude of it.

This morning on my way to school I was deep moved by what I saw outside a bank. An old man was counting his money in the front of the bank. Suddenly a young man came running and knocked her down. To make things bad, his money was lying in all direction. At once the people around rush to pick the money up, while the old man stood there, not know what to do. Surprisingly, everyone gave back the money they had just picked up. The old man counted the money again and found that not a single bill was missed. To my great joy, there are now plenty nice people in our life. It’s true what honesty is more important than money!

There are lots of versions of mooncakes all over China. They have a variety of fillings among that I love the red bean filling better.
I remember try my first mooncake as a kid. We sat in my grandmother’s yard while the full moon shines brightly. It was very special moment. My grandmother baked mooncakes for the whole family. She turned flour and red bean into wonderful mooncakes like magic. When she placed them on the table, they looked like small, round and golden-brown. The deliciously smell soon reached my nose. When she took each bite, the sweet and mild taste slowly filled my mouth.
The mooncake is always my favourite because of its good taste and the happy memories it bring to my mind.

My classmates and I visited the city museum on last Friday, where an exhibition of the traditional Chinese folk handicrafts was going on. A great many crafted items were on display, so each of them had a unique style. While admiring them, we feel proud of the wisdoms of the Chinese people. Besides, some craftsmen invited to show how to make them, which was very impressive. We were such amazed that we couldn't tear us away. We thought the exhibition was well worth visited. It was the trip to the museum which helped us to learn more about the Chinese art and culture. It is wide acknowledged that appreciating one's own culture is important for understanding oneself.

This morning, when I look out of the window, I excitedly found it was snowing heavily. Attracting by the beautiful sight, I decided to go out to take some photo. The snow finally stopped at noon, and I couldn’t wait go outside with my camera. As I walked on the path in front of our building, I saw the boy suddenly slip on the snow-covered ground. It was at that moment when I realized what I should do. Immediate, I ran back home to get a broom and started to sweep the path. I worked so hard that I sweated a lot of. An hour late, the thick snow was cleared away. Looking at the clean path, my neighbors all smiled but gave me thumbs up. I felt happy that I did something for my neighborhood.
Delighting to know the Video Production club is advertising for videos concerning memories about the Spring Festival, I’d like to participate this activity. Here goes the detailed informations of my contribution.
To help people get a better understanding of it, your video focuses on what people do during the Spring Festival. Some traditional customs, such as setting off fireworks and eat dumplings, are included. Additional, a big family dinner is the most important part, after that each member enjoys the pleasure of reunion and chats until the next day comes. At the end of this video, a brief introduction of the Spring Festival is being presented in the form of subtitles, impress the viewers again.
