In a recent evening, my host father was preparing food in the kitchen. I helped my host sister set the table by place a red tablecloth, plates and candles. Unlike any other wedding anniversary I have seen before, my host parents didn’t hold the big party. During the dinner, I told they were once classmates. His host mom went to Italy after graduation. After she went back, my host dad started to hang out with her. It made me to think those who true love you will never leave you.

My daughter and I went to a supermarket where was two blocks away to buy some fruits. While she was queuing at the check-out，my daughter waited on a benches nearby. Nowadays, more and more people choose to travel in holidays. There is several reasons for this phenomenon. For one thing, with the develop of economy, more people are able to traveling. For another, people are interesting in different cultures but long to experience different kinds of life. However, some tourists tend to behave bad when traveling. They leave rubbish everywhere, spit in public and jumped the queue. All the bad behavior leaves bad impression. Personally, I suggest each of us should be civilized when traveling. I'm learning to play the piano. We've had a old piano in our house for ages because my dad was used to play in a rock band when he was young. So he hasn't touched the piano for years. When that comes to books and films, I prefer reading books than to watching films. In my opinion, books have many beautiful words what make people feel happily. When we are busy studying and want to find approaches to relax ourselves, we can read a book. It always make my heart feel peaceful or clear. Some books may not understood easily, but they make us think more. Films may have some crazy parts sometimes. Therefore, they are different from books in describing a same thing.

I am a senior high school student. In my opinion, the classroom is place for students to gain knowledges. So quietness is badly need for us to learn in the classroom. So recently some students have brought their mobile phones to the classroom and we often hear of the ring of mobile phones. Some of them even wasted precious time in class type short messages on the mobile phones. To keep the classroom quietly and make us focus more on their studies, I suggest that mobile phones shouldn’t be used in the classroom. At least, they shouldn’t be used where we are having a class.

Last Monday, our monitor announced that an English Speech Competition will be held in our school on Friday afternoon. On hear the news, some classmates signed up for it immediately. I was thinking about if I should take part while my teacher came. She told me that it was good chance to show my gift. Encouraging by her, I decided to have a try. During the following days, I practiced the speech hardly. Then came the big day. I did a really good job and won the first prize, that made me so excited. Music and songs play a important part in our daily life. For example, they can bring we pleasure and make us happy. However , they can help us improve our study efficiency. I was fond of listening to songs and music very much, but my favorite song is Country Road. The lyrics and music bring me into a beautiful world in that I am loved and cared by Grandma . What’s more, they make me think of my wonderful childhood was spent in my hometown and I can still remember the game played with my young fellow. In a word, once enjoying, the song will never be forgotten.
