Last Sunday I finished my volunteer work in the wildlife park in my hometown, where was a valuable experience for me.
In park, I did the cleaning for the animals and feed them every day. In addition to, I corrected the translation mistakes on the leaflets which give visitors basic informations about the park. I also worked as a guide tell visitors that they should pay attention to when visiting the park.
I am so happy that I did something useful but meaningful for those wonderfully creatures. I hope more and more people will join me to protect it.
This morning, I was jogging in the park while I caught sight of a wallet on a bench. Clear, someone had left it there in accident. I picked up and checked the contents. Inside it, I found some money or a card with a phone number. Believing that the owner would be worried, I immediately try the number. A man answered it in an anxious voice. Hearing that I had his wallet, he sighed with relief and told me he would come right away. Ten minutes late, the man arrived. After confirm he was the owner, I returned the wallet back to him. With his thumb up, he expressed his thanks to me repeatedly. Seen the smile on his face, I felt happy that I was able to help.

Once I had to read a textbook which was so expensive for me to buy it. I couldn’t obtain it from the library and the only copy I could find was in a certain bookshop. So I go to the shop every afternoon and read a little of the book in a time. One day, therefore, I was disappointed to find the book missing from its usually place. I was about leave when the owner of the shop waved at me. Expecting to be told off, I went towards him. To his surprise, the owner pointed to the book placed in a corner.“I put it there in cases it should be bought, ”he said kindly, left me to continue my reading.

The rapid development of the Internet in China has bring us great convenience in our daily life and work. We can get whatever they need online. But I do not agree this opinion, because sometimes I find much students playing the computer games, that makes them fall behind in study. In my opinion, the Internet should be a good tool for us to communicating with others rather than an invention for a fun. What’s more, it will do harmful to us if we spent too much time looking at a computer. In summary, I hope every student values this great invention but makes good use of it.
