With its burnt orange peaks and abundant greenery, it’s a perfect mix of natural and man-made scenery.

Caves of Aggtelek Karst and Slovak Karst between Hungary and Slovakia

The Caves of Aggtelek Karst and Slovak Karst are located between Hungary and Slovakia and contain 712 caves which spread out over 55,800 hectares. The caves are made of limestone (石灰石) and have high humidity, so dripping water has formed into stalactites (钟乳石) over millions of centuries， creating the decorations you can witness today.

Lake Hallstat in Austria

Located between Salzburg and Graz, Hallstatt is a picturesque, 19th-century town in Austria’s Lake District featuring cottages, salt mines and ice caves. Situated in a settlement that dates back to the early Iron Age, it is one of the oldest settlements that were occupied in Europe.

Hu Qing Yu Pharmacy(药房)( Hu Qing Yu ‘Tang) in Hangzhou

It was initially founded by Hu Xueyan who was a successful businessman and a high-ranking official in the Qing imperial court. Starting business in 1874 during the rule of Emperor Guangxu, Hu Qing Yu Tang is still open today, and known as “King of Medicine”inSouth China. Rather than a pharmacy, it is more like a museum of traditional Chinesemedicine.

Bian Que Memorial Hall in Xi’an

Bian Que was born in the Spring and Autumn Period. Bian Que travelled through the several vassal states, practised medicine and saved many lives. The museum got the namebecause it was transformed from the site of Bian Que’s tomb in 1996. It has several halls, to introduce the development of traditional Chinese medicine and Bian Que stories.

Shanghai Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

lt is made up of TCM History Museum, the Chinese Medicine Specimen(标本), Museum and the Institute ( Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine)History Museum. Shanghai Museum of TCM is an educational base in Shanghai and an ideal place for sciencetour in Shanghai. Built in 1938, the TCM History Museum is the first of its kind in China.

Guangdong Museum of ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine

ALMOST FAMOUS at Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre

Based on the 2,000 film of the same name, the musical features Pulitzer winner Kitt and a book by Crowe, who earned an Oscar award for penning the original film based on his own teenage experience. The coming-of-age story tracks a 15-year-old music fan named William who follows the emerging band Stillwater on tour.

THE PIANO LESSON at Ethel Barrymnore Theatre

The play is the fourth in Wilson’s Century Cycle, which digs into the Black experience in every decade of the 20th century. Set in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in 1936, it centers around a brother and a sister involved in a battle over a piano carved with the faces of their ancestors.

KIMBERLY AKIMBO at Booth Theatre

8 . Dive into the classical world via the remains of an ancient merchant ship that dates all the way back to 5 BC as Greece is constructing its first underwater museum.

Some of Greece’s vast heritage of ancient shipwrecks are accessible to the public (divers and non-divers) for the first time ever in a series of underwater museums. The first opened on August 3, allowing visitors to explore the “Peristera shipwreck”, which has been at the bottom of the Aegean Sea for more than two thousand years after it sank in the 5th century BC near the northern Greek island of Alonissos. Since a fisherman discovered the ship in 1985, it has remained off-limits to the public but now visitors can explore it by sea or by virtual reality.

Researchers believe it’s the most important shipwreck from the classical era. It had been believed that a trading ship of that type didn’t exist until the Roman era some 400 years later. So when it was discovered years ago, it completely changed our understanding of shipbuilding in the ancient world.

Experts have yet to determine how or why it sank although there are some indications that a fire may have broken out. It’s believed that it was carrying 4, 000 vases of wine when it sank, most of which are still lying on the seabed, along with fishes and some little creatures who now call it home.

Greece had banned diving until 2004 or so, due to worries that undersea ancient heritage would be taken away but now the country is wholeheartedly hugging its rich underwater heritage. Access to the Peristera shipwreck is available through a new project that will create underwater museums across the Greek islands over the next two years. Divers will be able to tour the shipwreck with licensed guides and non-divers can feel like they’re underwater with virtual reality information centres on land.
