Enrolment (注册)

You can enrol for any course on 01223 712340 from 29th June. You can download course information from http: //www.parksidefederation.org.uk/adult-learn-train/.

The office will not be open from 23rd July until 3rd September for enrolment in person due to building work, however, we will be taking bookings over the phone and by email during this time.

Our hosted enrolment dates are:

Parkside Campus: 12th September 10:00-12:00

Coleridge Campus: 10th September 18:00-19:30

Fees
·Fees are payable in full when you enrol.
·Refunds (退款) will be paid in fUll when a class is closed according to the College’s decision, or if you cancel your enrolment at least two weeks before the course starts. If you decide to cancel less than two weeks before the course starts you will receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund if a course has already started.

·If you supplied your email address, you should expect to receive a confirmation email after your enrolment.
·Free parking is available in the evening at all centres.
·Upon enrolment you will receive learner information about college support as well as policies and regulations.

Contest Prizes:

$12,000 in cash prizes to be awarded to the winners: The Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 for the best overall image and be featured in the annual exhibit at the California Academy of Sciences (December 26 - December 31,2019). The first place winners of the seven official categories will each receive $1,000 in cash and also have their winning images featured in the annual exhibit. Up to 6 additional finalists will be awarded a certificate of recognition for each category.

3 . National Music Theater Competition

The 2024 National Music Theater Competition (NMTC) will be held. It was launched in 2011 as the first national competition for the emerging professional music theater soloist (独唱者). NMTC has provided industry connections for past competitors and winners that have led to their success on Broadway and other venues.

If you are planning to submit your application for the online round, you must complete the submission by September 15, 2023, but you’ll have 30 days after the deadline to upload your audition (试唱) videos. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

The Sunshine Call Program initially links a volunteer with an isolate (独居的) senior for a daily call When comfortable the volunteer introduces a second senior to the call. Then another, until there are four seniors to one volunteer on what is essentially a conference call. Without having to leave the house, you will help the seniors meet and make new friends. They will then exchange phone numbers to chat on their own and reduce their isolation.

Volunteers must have access to the Internet and be willing to be trained on the use of a chat app. COA will provide all supplies required to make the calls. Besides, volunteers must agree to participate in monthly meetings with other volunteers and guest speakers. Come out and let us teach you how to skydive today! We are located in Xenia, Ohio and is within a reasonable driving distance of major cities in Ohio. Situated on a private airport, Skydive Greene County offers world class training. We didn't start skydiving but we are Ohio's oldest skydiving school which opened in 1961!

◆Tandem Skydiving

Tandem skydiving is required if this is your first time skydiving. After filling out paperwork and watching a short video, you will be ready to make your skydive. Somewhere around 11, 500 feet you will be secured to your tandem instructor. The door will open and you exit the plane.

Your freefall with your instructor will last for approximately 40-50 seconds. We can almost guarantee this will be the most exciting minute of your life as you reach the speed of around 120 mph, falling for about two miles back to the earth!

◆Static Line Courses

Once you have made your tandem skydiving, you can move on to our Static Line Program. The Static Line Jump is the traditional way to learn to skydive. We have classes throughout the year. Every student will be led through the entire day by a licensed instructor. Never does the student feel unattended.

Once training is over, students will make their first jump on that very same day! If the weather does not cooperate, you can come back the next day, or we will re-schedule a time to make your skydive.
