1 . English Summer Camp for Teens
Located on the campus of Columbia University in Manhattan, New York, our camp offers English learners between 14 and 17 years old from all over the world the chance to improve their English language skills. The camp also offers students many exciting activities and excursions（短途旅行）in New York. We have residential and day camp programs.

Full-board residential accommodation:
All students are accommodated in single rooms in the university residence that features wireless Internet, a fitness center, student’s laundry facilities and outdoor seating areas. Bathrooms are shared. We offer health y food choices, with plenty of varieties and special diet options.
The camp capacity is only 200 students and we get application s from over 40 different countries, thus the number of students coming from one country is limited.
We don’t have application deadlines. However, all enrollments are subject to space availability. We recommend that you reserve your place as far in advance as possible. Many parents and students are “early birds” and make their decision 6 to 8 months in advance.

2 . The two-week Harvard Pre-College Program is an intense and exciting experience of the college life. The admission committee is now looking for mature, academically motivated students who will graduate from high school and enter college in 2022.
The Course Experience
With over 30 courses to choose from, you’re sure to find a topic that interests you. Although courses are non-credit and do not have letter grades, you need to attend the class in its entirety. When class is not in session, you can participate in creative and social activities. At the end of the program, you’ll receive a written evaluation from your instructor, as well as a transcript (成绩单).

Complete an online application and provide supplemental (补充的) materials, including:
·The $75 non-refundable application fee.
·Transcripts from 9th grade to fall 2021 grades: This can include progress reports, report cards, and educational summaries from your high school
·If English is not your native language, submit scores from the TOEFL IBT or IELTS language proficiency exam along with your application.
Cost & Aid
The total fee for a Harvard Pre-College Program 2022 session is $4,950. The program fee includes tuition, room and board, and activity costs for the full two weeks. There is also a non-refundable $75 application fee and $100 health insurance.
A limited number of scholarships are available to assist students who demonstrate financial need. Awards vary based on need, and atypical award covers part of the tuition.

3 . PYOP: Pick Your Own Produce at These Local Farms
Hollin Farms Delaplane, VAHollin Farms’ strawberry picking season will begin in late May, and last several weeks. Hours are 9:00 am-4:00 pm from Wednesday to Sunday. If you come in summer, peaches, blackberries, red raspberries and sour cherries are available. Apples are ready in late summer, and fall brings green vegetables, potatoes, and dig-your-own peanuts. And a special P. S.(备注) to meat lovers: they pride themselves on their grass-fed beef.
Great Country Farms Bluemont, VAGreat Country Farms is well-known for its seasonal festivals and fun farm-themed attractions. Their U-pick strawberry fields will open in May. The weekends of May 20-21 and May 27-28 are the yearly Strawberry Jubilee with live music, pie-eating competitions, tasty food, and more. Admission is $10/child and $12/adult, and it’s open daily during 9:00 am-6:00 pm.
Waters Orchard (果园) Gaithersburg, MDThis is a great place for apple picking. Just come in late summer and fall. After parking, it’s a 5-10 minutes’ walk to the orchard. Hours are 12:00-5:00 pm on Fridays, and 9:00 am-5:00 pm on weekends. Pick-your-own (PYO) pricing is by the peck (配克) —$15/half peck, $22/peck, and an entry fee for two is included. It’s $5/guest after that.
Homestead Farm Poolesville, MDHomestead Farm’s PYO season begins a little later than other area farms. The first crop will be tart cherries in June, and other berries will be ripe soon after. Peaches and apples come later. There are also animals to visit (goats, pigs, and chickens), and watching goats climb along the goat walk is always a trip for kids. The farm operates seven days a week, and PYO hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

4 . The Marvels
Captain Marvel returns to save the planet from evil aliens, but her job is made considerably harder this time by a cosmic glitch that links her to two other superheroines. Every time she uses her powers, she swaps places with cither Photon or Ms Marvel. “The worlds we go to in this movie are bright worlds that you haven’t scene before,” the director told Total Film.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
It’s prequel time again. In December, we’ll get to see the founding of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory in Wonka, but first there’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Based on a dystopian (反乌托邦) fiction, the prequel is set 64 years before the previous Hunger Games films.

Napoleon
This film is an epic biopic of Napoleon Bonaparte. It is reported to be three hours long, with six major battle sequences – although it’s as much a character-driven drama as it is a war movie.

Wish
Walt Disney celebrates its 100th anniversary with a carto on that incorporates the themes and animation styles of the studio’s first century. Wish is a musical fairy tale set in a magical land where King Magnifico can grant his citizens’ wishes. But a 17-year-old girl, Asha questions whether the king should keep that power all to himself. She wishes on a star-and the star then falls from the sky to help her. The director claimed that the film was “kind of our love letter to Disney, to Walt.”

5 . Tom Sawyer Play Is an Adventure
A 35-minute hand-clapping, foot-stomping musical version of a Mark Twain favorite returns with this Tall Stacks festival.
“Tom Sawyer: A River Adventure” has all the good stuff, including the fence painting, the graveyard, the island and the cave. It is adapted by Joe McDonough, with music by David Kisor. That’s the local stage writing team that creates many of the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati’s original musicals, along with the holiday family musicals at Ensemble Theatre.
This year Nathan Turner of Burlington is Tom Sawyer, and Robbie McMath of Fort Mitchell is Huck Finn.
Tumer, a 10th-grader at School for Creative and Performing Arts, is a familiar presence on Cincinnati’s stages. He is a star act or of Children’s Theatre, having played leading roles in “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “The Wizard of Oz,” and is fresh from Jersey Production “Ragtime”.
McMath is a junior at Beechwood High School. He was in the cast of “Tom Sawyer” when it was first performed and is a Children’s Theatre regular, with five shows to his credit. This summer he attended Kentucky’s Governor’s School for the Arts in Musical Theatre.

6 . Total Solar Eclipse 2023 Australia
One of nature’s most remarkable event — a total solar eclipse (日蚀) — will take place on the we stem edge of Australia on April 20th, 2023 and we have chosen the perfect way for you to enjoy this event: on a cruise (航游) at sea.
There have been only five total solar eclipse in Australia over the past century and this is the first hybrid eclipse in more than 1000 years. Unlike other cruises for this event, ours has the well-known astronomer Abigail Beall to accompany you.
