1 . Welcome to Chelsea FC Foundation Soccer Schools. Our camp programs in these schools offer players aged 9-17 the experience of a living and training like soccer experts with world-class coaching. Players will learn what it takes to become a world-class footballer at Chelsea FC and learn about Chelsea’s unique coaching philosophies. Chelsea FC Foundation’s coaches are skilled in challenging players of every level and their specialist programs cover technical, physical, psychological and social aspects of the game. Players will be grouped by age and their ability on the first day of the camp, and then they will start their training at different places.

We offer you Soccer Only Camp and Soccer and English Camp to choose from.

Soccer Only Camp (2 weeks):

•Up to 32 hours per week of soccer training.

•Campers need to be able to speak at least an intermediate level of English.

•Campers need to pay $2,295.

Soccer and English Camp (2 weeks):

•Up to 19 hours per week of soccer training, along with 14 hours per week of English language lessons.

•Campers need to be basic level English speakers at least.

•One-to-one instruction from Chelsea FC Foundation’s coaches.

•Campers need to pay $3.200.

4 . Open Lands Day

Join us at the Rogue River Preserve for a very special Open Lands Day!

The preserve includes two miles of riverfront along the Rogue River, a large forest, and some woodlands. It is only open to the public during special events, work parties, and youth education programs. So, come and take advantage of this special opportunity and explore the trails at your own pace, attend a guided hike, bring a picnic lunch to enjoy by the river, or all three.

To limit crowding, registration is required for hikes or self-guided exploration for the day.

	Cryptozoology Hike ‘Ness Around and Find Out’	1: 30-2: 30	Learn about the monster (怪物) of Loch Ness while we walk around and find more creatures unique to this area. This hike will be guided by Rebekah Berg koetter, Land Steward at SOLC.

7 . Some Arrangements for the Beijing Tour

Day 1

Any visit to Beijing is incomplete without a hike on the Great Wall. However, it is thousands of miles long and the Beijing section is only a small part of the Great Wall. The first choice is Badaling, but we recommend Juyong Pass, which is less crowded but no less impressive. Depending on your health and preference, you can climb very steep steps or have a walk on the relatively flat areas. There are many locations for great photo opportunities,

Day 2

Start at the Temple of Heaven, where emperors used to hold ceremonies to pray. Stop at the Echo Wall and discover the wonder of voices bouncing (弹跳) back and forth. Pass through the guard-protected Golden Water Bridge, and go to visit the Palace Museum.

Day 3

You can pay a visit to Capital Museum where the exhibits have more surprises. Take a walk along Wangfujing Street, a modern shopping street. The walking is much less intensive and the budgeted time much more flexible. You may want to finish the day off by catching a performance of Peking Opera and National Centre for the Performing Arts is an ideal place to go.

Day 4

The Summer Palace in a northwestern suburb of the city is a beautiful place. A short taxi ride north will take you to Qianmen Street. This retail centre was renovated (翻新) for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Here are some of the oldest businesses of the city, including the famous Peking Duck.

Kids interact with best-selling authors and participate in writing workshops around the city thanks to Thalia Kids Book Club. Astoria Bookshop will give young readers one fantasy novel at a time. Although the shop’s YA Book Club focuses on literature intended for those 12 and up, all ages are invited.
