Buzz Lightyear has been central to four Toy Story feature films, his own TV series, and various cartoon shorts. This year, the square-jawed Space Ranger is getting a film of his own. It’s unlikely that the sequel will be quite as creative, but, as the sub-title suggests, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse ( Part One ) is the first episode in a two-part story, which makes it a rarity in the world of cartoon films.

There are two things we know about James Cameron: he can’ t be rushed, and he loves the ocean. Those qualities come together in Avatar 2. The new film returns to the planet of Pandora, where blue- skinned Neytiri ( Zeo Saldana ) and her human husband Jake ( Sam Worthington ) are now patents, and Earthlings still haven’t solved the climate crisis. Most of the action took place underwater and was shot in a 900,000-gallon tank.

Top Gun: Maverick

It was back in 1986 that Tom Cruise last played Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, a trainee fighter pilot in the US Navy. Can anyone really believe that, all these years later, Maverick would only be a captain while his old frenemy “Iceman” ( Val Kilmer ) would be a four-star general?

2 . Imagining Food Fit for a Queen

Are you a writer with a fascination for food? Then we’ve got a competition for you. The competition began in 2008 and is the only national food writing competition that is aimed at children and young people up to the age of 18.

To be in with a chance of winning, write a short story or poem around the theme of “Food Fit for a Queen”. You can explore the theme in any way you want. You could write about a tea party that our Queen is invited, or imagine a meal with a real queen. For example, you could imagine dining with your favourite historical queen. What would it be like to have dinner with Queen Victoria or Elizabeth I? What would their table manners be like, and what would be on the menu?

The competition is divided into four different age categories (分类), each with a different word limit:

·6 and under — 150 words

·7-10 — 250 words

·11-14 — 500 words

·15-18 — 750 words

The judges will choose a winner and a runner-up in each category. Your story or poem needs to be written without the help of a parent. Please include the word count at the end of your story, and send your entry (参赛作品) by email to competitions＠theweekjunior.co.uk by 30 April 2022. 4 . Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8-hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in teens, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention (介入) and teaches individuals how to help a teen who is experiencing a mental health challenge.

What will participants learn?

The course teaches participants the risk factors and warning signs of a variety of mental health challenges common among teens, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, behavior disorders, and substance use disorder. Participants do not learn to diagnose(诊断), nor do they learn how to provide any medical service. Instead, they learn to support a youth who develops signs and symptoms of mental illness by applying a 5-step action plan.

Who created the course?

Mental Health First Aid USA worked with experts at the National Technical assistance Center for Children’s Mental Health at the Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development to develop the youth program.

Who can take the course?

Anyone 18 or older can take Youth Mental Health First Aid, but it is recommended for those who regularly have contact with young people ages 12-18—instructors, university staff, resident advisors, social workers, coaches, faith leaders and other caring citizens.

She’s walked in New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and London Fashion Week, despite having Down syndrome. Madeline is credited as being the world’s first supermodel with Down syndrome.

He is noteworthy for being one of the first Down syndrome actors to star in a prime-time (黄金时段)BBC drama, On top of acting in movies, Tommy has played many parts in theater, such as the role of Hamlet. He has won several Best Actor Awards and received an honourable mention for his acting talent from the 17th European Film Festival Koszalin, Poland.

She is responsible for founding Collettey’s Cookies, a cookie company based in Boston. After failing to find a job for 2 years, Collette was inspired by her friends to open her own business, which is still doing well. Collettey’s Cookies employs around 20 people and about half of them are people with disabilities. She hopes to help create more jobs for people with disabilities.
